After a long wait, WandaVision finally premieres on Disney+ Hotstar. The series about Wanda Maximoff or Scarlet Witch and Vision will have nine episodes. Fans can watch the first two episodes of the series to know the life of Wanda and Vision post-Endgame.
Unlike other Marvel series, WandaVision adapts a classic sitcom. The first two episodes raised many questions for the fans about what happens to Wanda and Vision. Why does their life seem to be arranged to end happily? You might be wondering what happens to them.
From the first two episodes of WandaVision, there are several hidden easter eggs that you might miss. What are they? Read the article below to find out.
1. Sokovia Memory
In WandaVision’s first memory, you will see how Wanda and Vision behaved awkwardly when Vision’s boss, Mr. Hart, and his wife visit their house. Vision improvised by saying that it was a tradition from Sokovia.
Sokovia is where Wanda and Scarlet Witch first appeared in the post-credit of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Where Wanda and his brother Quicksilver revealed to be a rat lab for Hydra.
2. Maison du Mepris Wine
When Wanda prepared the dinner for Mr. Hart and his wife, we saw her pouring a bottle of wine with her magical power. If you look closely, you will see the label "Maison du Mepris" and an “M” logo at the neck. It may be an easter egg that hints at a major event from the “House of M” comic.
Maison du Mepris translates to “House of Misery”. So it may refer to the misery that Wanda is going through.
3. A Calendar Marked with a Heart
In the first episode, you will see a calendar marked with a heart on 23 August. That scene is also an easter egg. August is the eighth month, so the combination translates to “238”. “238” refers to Avengers #238 comic book that was published in 1983. Where Vision was revied in the comic with an ability to project and interact through holographic simulation.
4. Stark Toaster Ad
WandaVision presented as a classic sitcom series with a commercial break. The commercial break is also an easter egg that relates to Wanda’s real life. In the first episode, fans can see a toaster ad named TravelMate 2000 created by Stark Industries.
Stark Industries doesn’t just invent home appliances, but also military equipment for war. Wanda herself had a bad memory with the Stark Industries. When she was young, Wanda and her brother, Pietro, saw an unexploded mortar shell that read “Stark Industries” destroyed her home. Since that moment the twins came to hate the name Stark.
5. Galactus and Fantastic Four Easter Egg
WandaVision’s second episode was opened with classic but intriguing animation. But do you know that the animation contains an easter egg about the existence of Galactus ? You can see a helmet when Vision flying down to the first floor.
The animation also shows Vision drawing a heart in the sky like how Human Torch drew the Fantastic Gour logo. The two easter eggs may indicate that Marvel Studios are planning to bring Galactus and Fantastic Four into the mix in the future.

6. Bova Milk Poster
In the animation, we also see Wanda shopping. If you look closely, there’s a poster for a milk packaging called Bova. Bova is the name of Wanda and Pietro’s caretaker, she is a female cow mutated to look like a human and created by a scientist named The High Evolutionary or Herbert Edgar Wyndham.
7. A Helicopter Toy with SWORD Logo
Still in the second episode, we see Wanda finding a toy helicopter that is colored like an Iron Man suit with a SWORD logo at the front. The easter egg may indicate that someone (possibly from SWORD) from the outside world is trying to enter Wanda’s current world. But Wanda shrugs it off and think of it just as a toy.
8. Jimmy Woo
If you have watched the Ant-Man film then you are familiar with Jimmy Woo. He is an ex-FBI agent now working for SWORD. You hear a person’s voice from the radio calling out to Wanda. The voice is asking Wanda “Who is doing this to you, Wanda?”.
The mysterious voice matched the voice of Jimmy Woo who is played by Randall Park. The IMDB page also credits Randall Park in WandaVision.
9. Strucker Watch Ad
Marvel fans are familiar with the name Strucker. Wolfgang von Strucker is a member of Hydra and responsible for the experiment done on Wanda and Pietro. In the second episode, we saw a watch ad made by Strucker with a Hydra logo.
The watch’s hands point to 2:42. Where it refers to Avengers #242 that was released in April 1984. In that comic, Captain America and Thor returned to celebrate Hawkeye’s marriage. Vision also restored his mobility and rejoined the Avengers with Scarlet Witch.
10. Mysterious Man
Toward the end of episode 2, we saw a mysterious figure wearing a beekeeper suit coming out of a sewer hole. The mysterious figure was possibly trying to enter Wanda’s reality. The mysterious figure may be a member of SWORD that is trying to save Wanda or a member of AIM, a group of scientists trying to take over the world.
But shockingly, Wanda turns back time and cuts the scene where the mysterious man appeared.
