The stories in the Boruto anime and manga are getting more and more exciting! After the death of Isshiki Otsutsuki, Code becomes the next big enemy. Like most of the great foes in Boruto, Code is an artificial human created by a secret organization known as Kara. Even though he is Jigen's subordinate, Code's character is quite interesting and can take over Jigen and Isshiki becomes the main enemy of this story about the shinobi world.

1. Code’s Introduction is Different in the Manga and Anime

It's no surprise that the anime and manga Boruto have presented different storylines. The manga features important parts of the story and the anime refines the plot even further. In the manga, Code was introduced shortly after Kara was introduced, precisely after the events of Shojoji's defeat in chapter 15.

In the anime, Code was introduced in Episode 157 after Jigen, the leader of Kara, held a meeting and explained to his group about their old base in Amegakure being destroyed.

2. Code Led Kara After Jigen

Kara is an organization led by Jigen whose goal is to absorb chakra from a planet and gain extraordinary powers in a garden-like process. Thanks to the efforts of Naruto, Sasuke, Boruto, and Kawaki, Isshiki Otsutsuki was finally defeated.

After the death of Jigen den Isshiki Otsutsuki, Kara is led by Code. Even though this Code is just an ordinary Inner like Delta and Kashin Koji.

3. Code is a Guinea Pig Like Kawaki

Although Code’s past has not been fully revealed, it was recently stated that Code is a guinea pig for Karma’s experiments, just like Kawaki. This makes Code one of the 15 children seen in Kawaki's flashback.

Of all the children, Kawaki is the only guinea pig that can be considered successful. This makes him the vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki, whose age will soon end with Jigen's body.

4. Code is Enhanced with Scientific Ninja Tools

Like all other Kara members, Code’s body has been modified with a microscopic scientific ninja tool. He can use his fingers as claws while trying to free Eida from Boro's place.

He could also have other powerful abilities stemming from scientific enhancements that have never been shown in the story as Code hasn't been involved in any serious battles with anyone.

5. His Goal is to Become a Celestial Being

Code lost his goal after the death of Isshiki Otsutsuki, however, he was asked by his master to accept his inheritance which was to replace Isshiki. Code's goal now is to continue the Otsutsuki Clan's plan by becoming a Celestial Being and consuming all the chakra and genetic material of a planet in order to evolve. In the end, Code wants to achieve the same thing as Jigen which is to become a god and become unrivaled in his strength.

6. Code is Stronger Than Naruto Uzumaki

Code is the strongest character in the Naruto universe. That means that even Naruto Uzumaki is still less powerful than him. Although the Seventh Hokage could still be his match when he had the Nine-Tailed Fox Kurama, after losing his power Naruto would surely lose to the new Kara leader.

This was revealed by Amado, who knew about how strong Code was and Amado also saw the extent of Naruto's ability against Isshiki.

7. Code has Karma 

All the children from Karma’s experiment eventually died due to the failure of the experiment, but Code was different from the others. Somehow, Code was able to survive the experiment and gain the power of Isshiki Otsutsuki without becoming a vessel.

If Kawaki and Boruto received ordinary Karma from Isshiki Otsutsuki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Code was an abnormal case because he received White Karma. However, the difference between the two Karma hasn’t been explained.

8. Code is Stronger than Jigen

Being the main villain in Boruto after Isshiki Otsutsuki's death, it's not surprising that Code is so powerful. According to Amado, Code is more powerful than Jigen, the previous container of Isshiki Otsutsuki. This makes Code a monster who can defeat almost anyone in a fight, including the rest of Kara and even Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.

9. Code has Limiters All Over His Body

Supposedly, Jigen would get rid of Code like he did with everyone else who was a threat to him, but Code was an exception. Being very loyal to Jigen and treating him as his God, he allows Code to become a part of Kara and serve him.

However, before that Jigen made sure that he remained the strongest in Kara. Thus, Amado placed limiters on Code's body to limit his power.

10. Code is Stronger than Delta and Boro

After getting limiters, Code is allowed to become part of Kara and functions as an Inner. Just like all the other members of this group, he possesses a terrifying power that allows him to defeat almost anyone who gets in his way.

What was surprising was,even with the limiter, Code was still stronger than Delta and Boro who were both great monsters. According to Amado, he is probably as great as Koji Kashin, one of the strongest members of Kara.
