1. Eren’s Half-Brother

Eren was Zeke’s younger half-brother -- they both had the same father, Grisha Yeager. Zeke first found out about Eren when Reiner and Berthold returned from the mission and learned that Eren was related to him from his father’s side.

Even though they first met each other as enemies during the Battle of Shiganshina District, they secretly worked together during Raid on Liberio for a common goal and believed that they both had been brainwashed by their father.

2. Inherited the Beast Titan Power from Tom Ksaver

The Beast Titan was one of the Nine Titans. This Titan was slightly bigger than most Titans, with some animal-like features -- for example, Zeke’s Beast Titan bears the appearance of a giant ape.

3. A Descendant of the Royal Family

Zeke was a descendant of the royal family from his mother’s side, who was the last remaining Fritz. Zeke’s royal family blood allowed him to maximize the potential of any Titan -- including the Beast Titan power that he inherited.

4. His Beast Titan Comes with a New Ability

Unlike the previous users of the Beast Titan Power, Zeke had a unique ability in his Titan form. He could transform Eldians into Titans with a scream if they had drunk his spinal fluid.

During his time on Paradis Island, he used this power and transformed the citizens of Ragako, a small village where Connie grew up.

This happened because of his royal blood, which allowed him to control the Mindless Titans, just like a Founding Titan.

5. He Could Speak in His Titan Form

Unlike most Titan Shifters, Zeke was able to speak fluently with ease in his Beast Titan form. He could casually talk and give orders to Mindless Titans. Due to this ability, people were stunned upon hearing her voice while in his Titan Form.

6. Levi Ackerman’s Biggest Nemesis

Since he’s the Beast Titan who had killed countless soldiers of the Survey Corps, Levi Ackerman developed a strong hatred towards Zeke -- especially after the death of Erwin Smith, which was directly caused by Zeke.

In retaliation, Levi activated his “God Mode” and attacked Zeke so badly -- blinding him in the process. After that incident, Zeke started to realize that the Ackermans were the ones that he needed to be aware of.

7. Betrayed His Parents to Survive

When Zeke overheard the rumors that the Marley government was about to discover the Eldian Restorationists, he knew that his parents had to go. He was encouraged by the previous user of the Beast Titan Power, Tom Ksaver, to give his parents to the government to save his grandparents. Grisha and Dina, along with the other members of the group were sent to Paradis Island as Mindless Titans.

Due to his betrayal, Marley believed in Zeke’s loyalty and gave him the power of the Beast Titan.

8. Tried to Save the World

There’s a moment where Tom and Zeke were talking about whether the Beast Titan can be used to save the world. Tom told Zeke about the power of the Founding Titan, which allows the user to transform any Eldian/Subject of Ymir.

Since then, Zeke planned to make Eldians unable to reproduce so that the race would die down naturally, thus the world no longer has to live in fear.

9. Betrayed Marley to Join Forces with Eren

To fulfill his agenda, Zeke betrayed Marley to secretly gain powers with Eren and several other soldiers of the Survey Corps. They both founded a group called the Yeagerists to achieve their respective goals.

10. Helped Eren Awakened the Power of the Founding Titan

Eren’s main goal in the Attack on Titan series is to commit genocide using the Rumbling, which he could activate using the power of the Founding Titan. However, to activate the power, Eren needed royal blood to come in contact with him. And, luckily, he had Zeke who helped him to awaken his power.
