10 Hardest Games on PS3, Can You Complete It?
Here’s a list of the hardest games on PS3. Not many gamers can complete them!

Several years back, on November 11, 2006, the PlayStation 3 was released worldwide. As a console that is quite outdated, the PS3 has a lot of games with great graphics and gameplay that are just as great as newly released games. Besides those games, the PS3 also has some of the hardest games to complete. What are they? Let's look at the following list.
1. Hotline Miami
Hotline Miami is a top-down retro 2D action game. This game makes the players see the gameplay from the top side, not from the side or almost like a side view of a Role-Playing game. Although it looks easy, this game will make players annoyed when playing it. Each mission in this game has a different level of difficulty. So the further you go, the more difficult the game will be. This game requires the player’s dexterity and reflex to complete it.
2. Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge
The Secret of Monkey Island is an adventure game developed and published by Lucasfilm Games. Initially this game was released on PC in the late 80's and early 90's. The setting adopts the golden era of pirates in the Caribbean Sea. In this game, players will play as a character named Guybrush Threepwood, a boy who dreams of being a pirate and exploring the seas. Despite being said to have a good narrative, Lucasfilm Games redeveloped the Special Edition version with a complete overhaul of the graphics in 2009 and 2010.
But at that time not all gamers liked the gameplay mechanics offered. When it was released to PS3, it's not very popular except for gamers who wanted nostalgia. The most pronounced difficulty is the puzzle elements that are not common to countries outside of northern America.
3. Hard Corps: Uprising
Hard Corps: Uprising is a run and gun game developed by Arc System Works and published under Konami for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In terms of gameplay, this game is similar to Contra that was popular in the 80s and 90s. It's just that Hard Corps: Uprising comes with fresher obstacles and graphics. Although similar, it turns out that the missions in Hard Corps: Uprising are actually quite difficult to complete. To finish this game, the players need good dexterity and response. So it is unlikely that gamers can finish this game in one go.
4. Wipeout HD
Wipeout HD is a futuristic racing game developed by Studio Liverpool and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PS3. Apparently being included as one of the exclusive games for PS3 didn’t boost its success. This game even received various criticisms, ranging from the release date that is always delayed, motion sickness problems, and long game load times. What makes the game even more challenging is the futuristic track is very different from ordinary racing games, so players have to play the game for a long time to adapt.
5. Dead Space 2
Dead Space was a survival horror game that was released on PS3. This game presents gameplay in third-person perspective that challenges players to survive the terrifying terror of an alien attack or the Necromorph. Interestingly, Dead Space 2 has 5 levels of difficulty, namely casual, normal, survivalist, zealot, and hardcore modes. In the harcode mode, players will be challenged to an extraordinary fear, by presenting a Necromorph that is much more agile and strong. Plus the supply of weapon ammunition is very limited and the player can only save their progress 3 times. Only those with the will of a steel can complete it.

6. Killzone 2
Killzone 2 was one of the exclusive games released for PS3. The second series presents good graphics quality for the PS3. The controller mechanism is realistic so it is quite difficult to control. Even every Trophy in this game will make players shake their heads, one of which is completing the game without dying in Elite mode. This mode itself can only be opened when the player completes all the previous modes. In Elite mode, players were guaranteed to be nervous because there’s no HUD and crosshairs and the enemies were a lot more deadly.
7. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 dan 2
Both Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2 were the two series that were considered the most difficult to complete. Because the enemies in this game were quite difficult to beat. Even for the recently released remake, the first and second Ninja Gaiden Sigma still feel a bit hard to complete without dying.
8. Catherine
Catherine is an RPG game developed by Atlus. The interesting thing about this game is the thick sensual elements and various controversial content regarding religious symbols and beliefs. In addition, this game also presents a very challenging gameplay, so it is guaranteed that players will not be able to finish it with just one play.
9. Demon's Souls
The hardest game on PS3 is definitely Demon's Souls developed by FromSoftware. This game adopts the same formula as Dark Souls. It's just that this game is packed with RPG and other elements. In this game, players will be faced with various enemies that are very hard to beat. Each boss character in this game also has a varying level of difficulty. Even this game also has Fall Death elements, so players are required to be careful in every step or they can fall and die. The success of Demon's Souls also made this game re-released for PS5, of course with graphic updates to make it more stunning.
10. Dark Souls
Dark Souls still holds the title of the hardest Role Playing Game (RPG) game ever. This will be felt by gamers as soon as they start the game. In this game, players will be presented with enemies with varying levels of difficulty to test their patience. At the beginning of Dark Souls, players' skills will be tested by directly facing a boss in the form of a very large demon with a wide attack area in a narrow room.
