Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shounen anime in which only a few female characters stand out throughout the story. However, there are some female characters in the anime that are pretty and incredibly powerful. Some of you may already know which character that we’re talking about -- Nezuko.

Aside from Nezuko, there are other female characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba that are very powerful. Without further ado, let’s take a look at this list!

10. Spider Demon (Daughter)

The Spider Family was the first big obstacle that Tanjiro and his friends had to deal with. The oldest child of the Spider Family was one of the most powerful characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba as she had killed over 80 humans. It’s an incredible number as she doesn’t possess any physical powers -- relying only on her webs to trap her targets and killing them slowly.

Unfortunately, she’s defeated rather too easily by the Insect Hashira, Shinobu.

9. Spider Demon (Mother)

The Mother Spider Demon was a powerful member of the Spider Family with a heartbreaking story. When Tanjiro was about to kill her, she surrendered herself and accepted the fact that she’s about to die -- as she preferred death over continue being used and ridiculed by the other family members.

The Mother Spider Demon’s power was similar to the other member of the family, using spider webs to fight from distance and use humans as puppets to fight for her. 

Her abilities allowed her to fight with a unique style of combat, but if the enemy’s aware of her location, she’d be put in a fatal situation.

8. Kanae Kocho

Although she’s killed prior to the story, back in the days, Kanae Kocho was the most powerful Flower Hashira, and even one of the strongest female characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba. She’s able to even the Upper Rank 2 Demon, Doma, in a fight, and even several other Upper Ranks. Even that she’s ended up fatally injured, it’s proof that Kanae could go head-to-head with powerful Demons.

7. Susamaru

Before the Spider Demon arc, Susamaru was the strongest female Demon that Tanjiro and his friends had to fight against. Susamaru’s physical strength was so much superior compared to other female characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba.

6. Daki

Daki was a terrifyingly powerful Upper Rank Demon. With her abilities, Daki could punch her opponents through walls. With her sheer strength, Daki clearly deserves a mention on this list.

5. Kanao Tsuyuri

Kanao Tsuyuri is the adoptive sister of Kanae Kocho, who looks quite similar to her sisters -- from her demeanor to her abilities. However, at a very young age, she was able to fight powerful Demons like Doma without any real trouble. Many people believe that Kanao’s the perfect candidate to become a Hashira.

4. Shinobu Kocho

The Insect Hashira was undoubtedly powerful. With her Breath of Insect, Shinobu could kill Demons with poison. Unfortunately, Shinobu’s lack of physical strength made it difficult for her to compete against Upper Rank Demons.

3. Tamayo

Tamayo was one of the few Demons who prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible -- she preferred to focus on pharmaceuticals. However, Tamayo wasn’t someone to be trifled with. Her illusory ability was enough to stop Muzan.

2. Nezuko

Nezuko is Tanjiro’s younger sister who’s turned into a Demon after being attacked by Muzan, who slain all of the remaining Kamados. As a Demon, Nezuko possesses enhanced physical strength and can restore her powers without any training or having to eat humans.

She also has immense regeneration like the Upper Rank Demons and can even manipulate her body’s size and height. She also developed her Blood Demon Art, which allows her to have pyrokinetic abilities that she can use to deal massive damage to Upper Rank Demons. Nezuko is also the first and only Demon who developed resistance towards sunlight.

1. Mitsuri Kanroji

The Love Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps was rather shy, gentle, and cheerful. Yet she’s unbelievably powerful as she possessed enhanced muscle and strength despite her slender physique.

As a user of the Love Breathing technique, Kanroji used to wield a unique sword that only she can wield. Her sword's extremely thin and soft. This is why she used it as some sort of a whip.

Kanroji is also one of the fastest Hashiras in Kimetsu no Yaiba.
