In the Naruto world, there are nine giant creatures with enormous powers that have the name Bijuu or Tailed Beast. The power they have is capable of destroying the world, so usually the Bijuu will be sealed into the body of a ninja in the hope that the ninja will be able to control the abilities of these monsters. These chosen ninja are called Jinchuuriki.
Not only does it get the power that a Bijuu has, Jinchuuriki also gets a large supply of chakra and can call them to work together. However, if the Bijuu is forcibly taken from the body of a Jinchuuriki, the ninja will die. But there are times when they managed to live, then the strength they get will also remain in the human body that becomes Jinchuuriki.

1. Shukaku - One Tailed (Ichibi)
Shukaku has the shape of a tanuki (original Japanese raccoon) made of sand. It sand defense is impenetrable. It has competition with Kurama the Nine-Tailed because Kurama says the number of their tails indicates how much power they have. Shukaku first appeared in Naruto Chapter 35 and in the anime in Episode 20.

2. Matatabi - Two Tailed (Nibi)
Matatabi in the form of a cat made of blue flame. It form and name are inspired by the legend of the Japanese two-tailed ghost cat and the "matatabi" plant which is very attractive to cats. It is polite and friendly, and usually uses formal language when talking to others. Matatabi first appeared in Naruto Chapter 312 comics and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 71.

3. Isobu - Three Tailed (Sanbi)
Isobu's body shape is very strange, like a turtle but with a thorny shell like a crab. It also has hands and feet like humans. It's named after the Japanese sea ghost Isonade. It was the first Bijuu that appear in wild condition. Isobu first appeared in Naruto Chapter 317 comics and in anime Naruto Shippuden Episode 92.

4. Son Goku - Four Tailed (Yonbi)
Son Goku has the form of a red-haired monkey with gorilla and fangs and large horns. His name is the Japanese pronunciation of Sun Gokong's "Kera Sakti", and his relationship with Roshi seems to be taken from two Dragon Ball characters: Goku and Master Roshi. He is arrogant but still respects his Bijuu friends. Son Goku first appeared in Naruto Chapter 567 comics and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 165.

5. Kokuo - Ekor Lima (Gobi)
Kokuo is shaped like a horse, but with a round head like a dolphin and has five horns on his head. Its name is taken from the ancient Japanese pronunciation which means "peaceful and beautiful" or "humble and dignified," in accordance with its quiet nature and desire to be alone in the forest after being released by Naruto and Sasuke at the end of the Ninja World War. Kokuo first appeared in the Naruto Chapter 566 comics and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 165.

6. Saiken - Six Tailed (Rokubi)
Saiken is shaped like a slimy snail, but with small hands and feet. He has a relatively submissive nature compared to his Bijuu friends. Saiken first appeared in the Naruto Chapter 567 comics and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 151.

7. Chomei - Seven Tailed (Nanbi)
Chomei's form is no less strange than Isobu's. He is shaped like a beetle horn patterned armor with six wings that make up the rest of the seven tails he has. His character is very jolly, even calling himself as "Lucky Seven Chomei" from the number seven which is considered as a lucky number. Chomei first appeared in Naruto Chapter 570 and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 165.

8. Gyuki - Eight Tailed (Hachibi)
Hachibi has a body like a human but has a cow head and eight legged like octopus. His name and body are taken from the Japanese ghost Ushi-oni aka Gyuki. It was once wild and fierce, its nature has become serious, tough and level-headed since being with Killer Bee.
His relationship with Killer Bee seems to be a play on words, because the number "eight" is "hachi" in Japanese, which can also mean "bee" or "bee" in English. Gyuki first appeared in Naruto Chapter 413 comics and in his anime in Naruto Shippuden Episode 143.

His rivalry with Shukaku is inspired by the Japanese proverb, "fox and tanuki collide with intelligence," which means two cunning people trying to deceive each other. The name itself is recognized by Masashi Kishimoto, taken from the character Kurama from the Yu Yu Hakusho anime series, which is also a fox spirit
Kurama has a cynical and cunning nature, and his arrogance comes from having the most number of tails compared to his Bijuu friends. Like most other Bijuu, he also hated humans because he was always manipulated and hostile, but eventually Kurama was able to forgive and volunteer to help humans after collaborating with Naruto. Kurama first appeared in Naruto Chapter 1 comics and in his anime in Naruto Episode 1.

10. Ten Tailed (Juubi)
The manifestation of Kaguya Otsutsuki was combined with the God Tree to reclaim the chakra inherited by his children, Hagoromo and Hamura. The Ten Tails are considered the ancestors of chakra.
