Most video games with high graphics quality are targeted at high-end PCs. However, some of these games can also be run smoothly on low-end PCs! Take a look at this list!

Keep in mind, that:

• Low-end/potato PC refers to those that have 4 GB of RAM
• Has a GPU of at least GTX 750 Ti, a GPU released back in 2014. As long as you have this, you can play several new games if you’re okay to settle with less than 1080p.
• No need to tweaks any files, only standard graphics settings.
• We’re targeting 25-30 fps, 60 fps is solely based on luck.
• The minimum target resolution is 720p.
• The minimum target for the graphics settings is Very Low to Medium. Maybe High, but only if you’re lucky.
• The “stunning” graphics are based on the aforementioned limitations, you won’t be able to play games like Final Fantasy XV, Metro Exodus, Doom, or Apex Legends.

We won’t recommend you to play GTA V on a potato PC as you won’t be able to even render the map. But, we recommend you to play the predecessor, GTA IV. Compared to its younger sibling, this series has decent graphics although the 3D model is still pixelated, and can still pamper your eyes.

2. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Becoming an Assassin-Pirate won’t just be a dream for you if you have at least a 750Ti, since this installment, which follows Edward Kenway, can be run on Intel i3 500U and 920MX, which isn’t a PC standard but rather laptop specifications. Have higher specs? You’ll be able to run it smoothly with no problem.

3. Devil May Cry 4

Devil May Cry 4 was released in 2008 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Later on, they released the game on PC and rebranded it as a Special Edition. It still looks amazing even on lower-end PCs.

4. Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry 5 can be run smoothly on potato PCs with 4 GB of RAM. This game is an upgraded version of Devil May Cry 4 with far more stunning graphics. Unfortunately, if you don’t have enough RAM capacity, the game will stutter.

5. Genshin Impact

Weebs would be ecstatic to find out that their potato PCs can actually run Genshin Impact. As you can see on the laptop above, the miHoYo’s game only requires intel i3 5005U with NVIDIA 920M GPU. 30 fps can guarantee you an enjoyable gaming experience. And, 920M is significantly lower than GTX 750 Ti.

6. VALORANT

VALORANT is also one of the games with amazing graphics yet can still be run even on an Intel HD 4000.

7. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Designed as a competitive game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, better known as CSGO, doesn’t boast its graphics. However, the visuals are considered as one of the best for a competitive game.

8. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1-3

The trilogy that propelled Activision’s status in the industry isn’t that demanding. You only need at least an Intel HD 4000 to play the origin stories of Captain Price, Ghost, Gaz, and Soap.

9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

11. Watch Dogs

You can play the first Watch Dogs at 720p resolution with approximately 45-60 fps in medium settings if you have at least i3-3220 and GTX 750 Ti.

12. Far Cry 4

While Far Cry 5 is clearly impossible to run on potato PCs with 4 GB of RAM, Far Cry 4 still can be run smoothly. This game has amazing visuals and can run at 1080p if you have a GTX 750 Ti. 

13. Prototype 1+2

Prototype was actually a precursor of a SpiderMan game that ended up being its own franchise. The franchise has two different main characters and doesn’t have the best visuals but still can be run on potato PCs.

14. Just Cause 3

Open-world games tend to require high consumption of RAM/GPU. However, Just Cause 3 is still feasible to run on low-end PCs. You’ll still be able to enjoy it on 25-30 fps.

15. Murdered: Soul Suspect

This game follows the spirit of a murdered detective who roams around to solve cases that turn out to be related to the astral world. The minimum specs are Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of RAM.

Honorable Mention: Rainbow Six Siege
