The number of characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is indeed very large, ranging from superheroes to villains. Even a number of supporting characters are also included in it. Uniquely, the MCU also forced a number of their characters to be told to fall or die. However, not all characters who die are told to fall in a good way, because the MCU also describes how these characters died in a brutal and pathetic way.

1. Ronan - Guardians of the Galaxy

2. Aldrich Killian - Iron Man 3

When a group of scientists met in Bern, Switzerland, Aldrich was just an eccentric scientist who managed to make a fantastic discovery that could cure defects in the human body.

But Aldrich Killian had to lose and die in a pathetic way. When confronted with Iron Man, Aldrich tried to use his stance but was restrained using Mark 42 armor and blew himself up.  

3. T'Chaka - Black Panther

After a deadly accident in Lagos, the King of Wakanda, T'Chaka appears before the United Nations and condemns not only the terrorists, but the Avengers as well. The world's governments come together to draft the Sokovia Accord, which puts the Avengers under the control of an international panel.

While T'Chaka is making a speech to make Wakanda more open to the world, a bomb explodes and kills him. T'Challa hugged his father's corpse and cried. Police suspect that the culprit is a friend of Captain America's named Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).

4. Taserface - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 

Taserface is a member of the Ravagers space pirates led by Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. In that group, Taserface served as a lieutenant so that he was respected by the other members. But when Yondu was imprisoned, Taserface eventually became the leader of the Ravagers. Unfortunately, Taserface's leadership did not last long, because then he had to die in a tragic way. He had to die with his plane while giving information to the Sovereign Chambermaid, one of Ayesha's servants.

5. The Three Warriors - Thor: Ragnarok 

The Three Warriors are three knights assigned to guard Asgard. But the three knights did not move when they had to deal with Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Two of the knights died early when Hela drew a sword at the stomachs of the two Asgardians. While the other one also had to die while leading all of Asgard's troops to deal with Hela. Again, the last Asgardian knight also had to die horribly due to being stabbed by the spear thrown by Hela.

6. Heimdall - Avengers: Infinity War

In Avengers: Infinity War, Heimdall told to die horribly at the hands of Thanos. The action of sending the Hulk back to Earth, which Thanos finds out and angers him. After successfully dispatching the Hulk, Thanos then turned to Heimdall and drew Corvus Glaive's spear at Heimdall. Thor also witnessed Heimdall's death. It also makes Thor have a very deep grudge against Thanos.

7. Loki - Avengers: Infinity War

Apart from Heimdall, Loki also died horribly at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Loki, who was trying to carry out his cunning action, couldn't do anything when Thanos strangled his neck. Loki who was unable to fight back eventually died from the strangulation.

8. Obadiah Stane - Iron Man

Obadiah Stane is the enemy faced by Tony Stark in the first Iron Man film. Stane who uses Iron Monger actually managed to outperform Tony Stark who uses Iron Man armor. However, Stark's reckless action prompts Pepper Pots to press a giant arc reactor's energy button which causes him to release high power. The instability of the arc reactor actually made Stane electrocuted and fell into the arc reactor that exploded with him.

9. Yellowjacket - Ant-Man

Darren can be said to be the only obstacle in the Ant-Man film, Darren obtained the Yellowjacket suit that can turn him as small as Ant-Man and become his true rival. Unfortunately Darren couldn't use Pym's particles to multiply instead he was too emotional to fight and chase Scott Lang. Yellowjacket actually died in a pathetic way, where the costume he was wearing had been damaged by Scott Lang and then shrunk and disappeared.

10. Carlo - Thor Ragnarok

Carlo was actually a minor character in Thor: Ragnarok, but his tragic death is fondly remembered by many Marvel fans. Carlo, who tries to escape from the planet Sakaar, is captured by Sakaaran's guards. Previously, Carlo had apologized to The Grandmaster for what he had done. But this does not make The Grandmaster to forgive. Then Carlo is executed using a weapon called the Melt Stick, saying forgive him in life. Carlo melted instantly when he touched the Melt Stick. Thor who was beside him immediately screamed hysterically and couldn't stand the smell of the melted liquid.

11. Skurge - Thor: Ragnarok

In the beginning, Skurge is said to be one of the Asgardian guards who survived after Hela killed two Asgardians. Then Skurge became Hela's supporter to seize the power of Asgard. Unable to bear to see the Asgardians killed, Skurge finally betrays Hela to save the remaining Asgardians to flee. But Skurge actually faced Hela who was no match for him. Skurge finally also died in the hands of Hela in a pathetic manner due to the sword drawn at him.

12. Ego - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 

Ego is the biological father of Peter Quil or Star Lord in the series Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Although initially told as a good character, but in the end Ego becomes a villain who has very bad intentions. As a Celestial being, Ego has a very terrible power. Ego is dubbed as a planet-eating character. However, Ego must be told to fall in a pathetic way. As a planet, Ego exploded with nothing left, when an explosive was placed in the core of his brain.

13. Ultron - Avengers: Age of Ultron

Ultron is one of the MCU's strongest villains that the Avengers have to face in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ultron is an artificial intelligence A.I (Artificial Intelligence) created by Tony Stark from within Loki's Infinity Gem but rebelled (in the comic version, Ultron was created by Hank Pym the Ant-man).

The death of Quicksilver or Pietro Maximoff makes Wanda hold a grudge against Ultron. With her powers, Wanda tries to avenge her brother's death on Ultron. Wanda's way of killing Ultron is also one of the most brutal ways of killing in the MCU. Wanda ripped Ultron's heart from his body and rendered him unable to move anymore.

14. The Black Order - Avengers: Endgame

The Black Order group is an elite troop group that works under Thanos. This elite squad consisted of four members who each possessed great strength. However, in Avengers: Endgame, the four members of The Black Order are said to have died in a pathetic way.

15. Illuminati - Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness

Finally, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness is the latest MCU film coming in 2022. Not only does Doctor Strange bring back the action of Doctor Strange, but also introduces a number of new characters. In this film appears a superhero group called the Illuminati. This group itself consists of five 6 members, including Professor Charles Xavier, Reed Richard, Captain Marvel, Black Bolt, Karl Mordo, and Captain America. However, all members of the group are said to have died in a very tragic way at the hands of the Scarlet Witch.
