Unfortunately, the experiment didn't go well and they had to face the consequences. Edward loses limbs, and Alphonse nearly dies, but his soul remains on Earth after being bound to an armor.
They are saved by Pinako and Winry. Winry is an engineer who makes prosthetic limbs for Edward. The brothers continue their journey to get their bodies and lives back.
2. Steins;gate
Steins;gate tells the story of Okabe Rintarou, who found the dead body of a scientist named Makise Kurisu, who was covered in blood from a stab wound.
After seeing the incident, Okabe panicked and immediately contacted his friend, Hashida Itaru. But after sending the message, strange things begin to happen and he feels like he's in a different world. Not long after, Okabe realizes that the message sent by him could alter the future.
3. Shingeki no Kyojin
Shingeki no Kyojin is one of the most phenomenal shounen anime. This anime gained massive followings as well as causing controversies over the years.
The series tells the story of Eren Jaeger, a boy who vows to eradicate every man-eating Titan that penetrates the walls and destroys his hometown.
He joined the Survey Corps and underwent extensive training to achieve his goals. Then things get even more complicated as more truths about Titan's origins begin to surface.
4. Hunter X Hunter
Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter X Hunter is another classic that became one of the best Japanese anime of all time.
The series follows Gon Freecs, a boy who runs away from home to take the Hunter Exam. He hopes that by passing the exam and becoming a Hunter, he will finally find his long-lost father, Ging.
Along the way, he meets Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio. They become friends since their first encounter, and they go on many adventures together, from fighting at the Heavens Arena to battling the Genei Ryodan in Yorknew City.
5. Cowboy Bebop
Cowboy Bebop is a 26-episode classic series that every anime fan should watch at least once in their life. Follows Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, the series is set in a dystopian future where humanity has conquered the galaxy.

Luffy is a 17-year-old boy who believes that nothing is impossible to achieve. One day, he wants to become the Pirate King. Luffy leads the Straw Hats, a formidable army of pirates who work together to discover the One Piece.

8. Dragon Ball Z
This anime tells the story of Goku, a Saiyan warrior and the strongest fighter on the planet, who leads the Z Fighters in their quest to get the Dragon Balls and defend the planet from various enemies.
The series is a continuation of Dragon Ball, and expands the series universe in innovative ways. After winning the Martial Arts tournament, Goku settles down, gets married, and has a child.

However, Nezuko still displays human behaviors such as protecting her brother from Demon Slayer attacks. Tanjiro then sets out on a journey to kill demons and try to turn his little sister back into a human.

Hinata Shoyo is a rather short high school student who's far from the typical volleyball player. However, Hinata can jump really high, making him a reliable spiker. Together with Kageyama, the Karasuno team begins to chase for the national title.

Bleach follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student who's granted the power of a shinigami, the god of death, to protect the real world from evil spirits or Hollows. After becoming a shinigami, Ichigo has his own sword, the Zanpakuto, which gives him greater fighting power.
This series is full of betrayals, sad stories, and comedic moments. The fighting scenes in Bleach are quite amazing to watch and are on-par with the likes of Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece.

This anime tells the story of Violet, a former soldier girl who is now an Auto Memory Doll, some kind of a typist.

This anime tells the story of Rei Kiriyama, a 17-year-old teenager who turns into a professional shogi player at a very young age. However, Rei has no friends and lives apart from his family and he doesn't go to school either.
Together with the three Kawamoto sisters: Akari, Hinata, and Momo, Rei learns to grow in life, both in shogi and in the development of himself.
