There are plenty of things in One Piece anime that do not appear in the manga, like filer stories, and vice versa, there are some scenes from the manga that do not appear in the anime like excessive violence. 1. Lola and Chiffon’s Encounter
Lola and Chiffon are the children of Yonkou Big Mom who have been separated for a long time. These twins appear in different arcs, Lola appears in the Thriller Bark arc, while Chiffon appears on Whole Cake Island.
On the manga mini cover titled “Gang” Bege’s Oh My Family", the twins finally reunited. Because this only serves as a page cover, surely this does not appear in the anime.
2. Excessive Blood and Violence
Blood and excessive violence are something that cannot be shown on television. In One Piece manga, those things still can be shown but under some standards for the reader’s convenience. After all, black-colored blood won’t disturb that much to readers.
For example, in the manga, Shirohige’s face gets destroyed after being attacked by Akainu. Because this scene is considered too violent, this scene is never shown in the anime.
3. Zeff’s Leg

In the anime, Sanji is seen struggling against Vergo, but in the anime, he’s shown rather calm when fighting the traitor.
5. CP9’s Story
In the Enies Lobby arc, Luffy and the gang must fight against CP9 to save their friend, Nico Robin. In the end, Robin is saved after all CP9 members are defeated.
Rob Lucci and his gang are lying unconsciously upon being defeated with no explanation about their future, as shown in the anime. But in the manga cover story titled “CP9’s Independent Report”, we can know how they rise from defeat as well as the inclusion of Lucci, Kaku, and Spandam to CP-0.

6. Straw Hat’s Giant Fleet’s Story
In the anime, it doesn’t show what the Straw Hat’s Giant Fleet does after the Dressrossa arc ends, but in the manga, there is a chapter that describes their story, and it does not differ so much from CP9’s journey after losing to Straw Hats.
In the manga’s cover story, it is stated that Bartolomeo and his crew burn the Red Hair Pirates’ flag led by Yonkou Shanks, as well as Baby 5 and Sai’s marriage party.
7. Zoro vs Pica
There is an interesting thing that is shown in Zoro vs Pica in the manga. In the anime, we can see a large power gap between Zoro and Pica, but Zoro never states it directly to Pica.

8. Law’s Middle Finger

9. Bon Clay Is Still Alive
Bon Clay and Luffy have a strong bond since their encounter before the Arabasta arc. They later reunite in Impel Down, for his friend, Bon Clay is willing to sacrifice his life, and this makes him look cool.
At the end of the Impel Down arc, Bon Clay opened a path for Luffy to go while he sacrificed himself to face Magellan. In the anime, we don’t know his future, but in the manga, it is stated that he becomes the new okama queen on floor 5.5 Impel Down.
10. Luffy’s Power
After the time skip, Luffy’s power difference is seen at Sabaody when he uses Haki and defeats Pacifista with just one punch. In the manga, the power difference shown is massive.
When facing Hody Jones, Luffy even makes Zoro astonished in awe for seconds. During the fight against Doflamingo at Dressrosa, Luffy is seen a more relaxed than shown in the manga. In other words, he can defeat Doflamingo easier.

After 25 years, the One Piece manga has managed to get the extraordinary achievement of being the most-sold manga in history. Shonen Jump magazine editor-in-chief Hiroyuki Nagano has received a new Guinness World Record certificate for the One Piece manga with over 500 million copies in print.
This is One Piece's latest achievement after previously receiving an award from the Guinness World Record as the most printed comic book by a single author. The estimated number of manga sold in Japan is 416,556,000 copies plus about 100 million copies worldwide.
12. One Piece was Inspired by Dragon Ball
Eiichiro Oda admits that he has always followed Son Goku's stories since he was a kid by reading Dragon Ball in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Oda also added that Dragon Ball was one of his inspirations in drawing One Piece.
Oda acknowledged the fact that Dragon Ball had changed his life as a manga artist. He also praised the Dragon Ball graphics and story which he thought were best. Working with Dragon Ball author Akira Toriyama is Oda's dream since childhood which has come true several times.
13. One Piece Author Only Sleeps 3 Hours a Day
Maybe you don't know that Oda only sleeps for 3 hours a day. As reported by Soranews, Oda revealed in a magazine article that he usually sleeps at 2 am and wakes up at 5 am then starts working. Occasionally, he takes a break for lunch and dinner.
These working hours are so unbelievable, right? Oda did this because of his dedication to the One Piece manga. Oda doesn't want to disappoint readers, so he continues to work hard at drawing and writing One Piece stories.
14. Sanji's Initial Name
From the start, Oda never intended to use the name Vinsmoke on Sanji. Sanji's real name that Oda planned was Naruto. This is because Naruto means spiral, like Sanji's eyebrows. This was because the Naruto manga was about to release, then Oda decided to change his name to Sanji.
15. One Piece Was Planned for 5-Years Run
