Valorant | 16 February
VCT Pacific Kickoff 2026 has come to an end with the conclusion of the lower final bracket match between RRQ and PRX on Sunday (15/2). RRQ suffered a defeat against PRX, dashing their hopes of advancing to VCT Masters Santiago.
3 Teams Representing the Pacific Region at VCT Masters Santiago
Here is the list of Pacific teams that have qualified for VCT Masters Santiago 2026:
- Nongshim Red Force: +4 points (Masters Santiago)
- T1: +3 points (Masters Santiago)
- Paper Rex: +2 points (Masters Santiago)
Note: The top four teams earn Championship Points for a slot in the 2026 Valorant Champions.
RRQ's Losing Streak
Team RRQ had to swallow a bitter result at this VCT Kickoff. Their journey was smooth at the start of the upper bracket. The results of Stage 2 meant they started from the upper round 2.
From DFM to Paper Rex, RRQ swept them all with a decisive 2-0 score. This result made RRQ the first team to secure a spot in the upper finals alongside NS, meaning both teams were just one step away from qualifying for VCT Masters Santiago.
Unfortunately, RRQ failed to maximize that opportunity. Losing to NS 3-2, RRQ dropped to the middle final against T1, and suffered another defeat 3-0. Paper Rex became the last opponent to face, also making RRQ succumb 3-1.
As a result, RRQ had to relinquish the VCT Masters Santiago slot, and only earned 1 additional Champions Point.
