1. Make Sure Your Hero Level in Clash of Clans Is Not Too Far Apart 

It is important to keep all of your heroes in Clash of Clans on an equal level. Why? Here’s why:

1. If you only depend on 1 high level Hero, you will die when the Hero is being upgraded and the hero cannot be used.
2. At least keep them in multiple of 5 level. Because Barbarian King’s Iron Fist skill or Archer Queen’s Royal Cloak will get an amazing upgrade in every 5 levels.
3. For example, Level 7 Archer Queen and Level 9 Barbarian King, it is better for you to upgrade Barbarian King first so his Iron Fist effect will be more maximal in Level 10. Compared to the Royal Cloak effect that you get from Level 8 Archer Queen.

Always keep 1 active Hero when the others are being upgraded, so you will be able to bring at least 1 Hero on each Clan Wars.

2. Change the Hero who is being upgraded

The most difficult thing that you need to know when upgrade the Hero is not the expensive cost required, but their absence when you attacked. Your attack to opponent’s Base will be different without the Hero, especially when they are above level 30.

For that reason, there are 2 appropriate ways to upgrade your Hero in Clash of Clans depend on your style:

• For those who like Clan War: Upgrade all of your Heroes in a fairly close duration
• For casual player: Upgrade your Heroes one by one.

Because it is important for Clan War players to reduce the time of absence of the Hero when you are doing a Clan War. So, you must upgrade them all as soon as possible.

As for casual players who are not in a hurry, you should upgrade the Heroes one by one and take your time. No need to be forced.

3. Pay Attention To How You Farming Your Dark Elixir

Farming Dark Elixir is not only time consuming and take your energy, but you certainly also need to upgrade the Hero in Clash of Clans. So, to save up and your Dark Elixir inventory doesn’t run out quickly, you have to pay attention to these two things:

1. An attacking strategy that doesn’t cost a lot of Dark Elixir. This attacking strategy need to get you at least 1 & 2 Star attacks with only 1 Hero available
