DG Friends is still keen to play CoC (aka Clash of Clans), right? Well, World Games has compiled effective tips and tricks from Quora for you who have reached TH8!

Maybe DG Friends feels that TH8 is starting to feel hard. Although there is no troop composition that will always make you win the War, there are 3 combinations that are highly recommended by veteran Clash of Clans players. They are:

1. Dragon Attack

If the enemy has a weak Air Defense, you can use this strategy that relies on Dragon as an air strike. But remember, you will need a Dragon at least level 3 to successfully launch this strategy!

After that, prepare 10 Dragons with the Rage spell. Or 3 Lightning spells to destroy the existing Air Defense. Here are the Troops combinations that you can use:

With 10 Dragons, you can bring 5 more Balloons or 1 Dragon + 1 Balloon or 5 Hogs with Hate or Earthquake spells. With this attack you can carry 2 Lightning, 1 Rage or Healing, 1 Earthquake. Or 2 Rage and 1 Healing.

While with 8 Dragons, you can bring 8 Balloons and Troops in the form of 1 Dragon and 1 Balloon. You can also bring several Minions, by reducing the number of Balloons.

2. Hog Attack

But if your Dragon level is still low, you can use the Hog strategy. With a minimum of using Hog above level 3, here are the Hog combinations you can try:

32 Hog, 10 Wizard, 3 Healing, 1 Poison. With CC Troops: 5 Hog or 2 Witch plus 1 Barbarian with Poison.

If the enemy base is Anti-Hog, then try GoHo's strategy: 16 Hog, 2 Golem, 12 Wizard, 4 Wall Breaker, 4 Archer; Spells that can be used are 3 Healing, 1 Poison; and CC Troops: 5 Hog or 2 Witch plus 1 Barbarian with Poison.

3. GoWiPe or GoWiVa

For players who are better at maximizing Golem, Wizard and PEKKA levels. This strategy will be difficult, and mainly you will use the Golem with some Wizard to clean the sides, and put the remaining Troops in the middle and make them Rage to the end.

The composition of GoWiPe is:

2 Golem, 2 PEKKA, 8 Wall Breaker, 4 Archer, 15 Wizard, 2 Hog; CC Troops: 1 PEKKA or 3 Valkyrie or 2 Witch or 5 Hogs; The spells, 2 Healing and 1 Rage, or 2 Rage and 1 Healing. You can also try using GoWiVa, replacing PEKKA with Valkyrie.
