The renowned Pakistani esports team, 4Thrives Esports, won the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Season 1 2026 on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The 4Thrives Esports team won the PMGO 2026 S1 after winning the Grand Final, which took place over two days, June 6 and 7, 2026, at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. The epic battles at the PMGO 2026 S1 Grand Final were witnessed by thousands of PUBG Mobile Esports fans in attendance and enlivened the event. The Grand Final also featured an epic performance by the idol group, JKT48 Team Love.

The PMGO 2026 S1 competition ran from June 2-7, 2026, with a total of 32 teams battling to be crowned the best team on the global stage. From the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and all the way to the Grand Final, there was plenty of drama and surprising results, including two Indonesian representative teams, RRQ Ryu and VOIN Chaikery, and the PUBG Mobile world champion team at PMGC 2025, Alpha7 Esports, being eliminated and failing to advance to the Grand Final. The return of the Smash Rule format in this competition further heightened the competitive tension throughout the Grand Final.

4Thrives Esports Wins PMGO 2026 S1, Falak and Friends Prove Their Worth on the Global Stage!

As previously mentioned, the PMGO 2026 S1 Grand Final will take place over two days, June 6-7, 2026. In addition to the two-day Grand Final, the "Smash Rule" format also returns, where once a team reaches match point, they only need one Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) result to end the game and be crowned champions. However, if a team has secured match point but still hasn't secured a WWCD in the next match, the winner will be determined by the team with the highest points.

On the first day, the PMGO 2026 S1 Grand Finals were incredibly intense. Brazilian team FURIA opened up a commanding lead in Game 1, Rondo. In Game 2, Pakistani team 4Thrives Esports showed off their prowess by securing a WWCD on Erangel. Games 3 and 4 were dominated by Turkish teams ULF Esports and Geekay Esports, respectively. 4Thrives capped off their dominance on the first day with back-to-back WWCDs in Games 5 and 6, securing Miramar a commanding lead in first place with a total of 82 points.

Unfortunately, on the first day, the Indonesian teams struggled. The two top teams, Bigetron by Vitality and Team Pandum, languished at the bottom of the standings in 15th and 16th place, respectively. Meanwhile, another Indonesian representative, BOOM Esports, was slightly more fortunate, finishing in 9th place, solidifying their position heading into the second day. On the second day, the battle intensified. The match point total was set at 92 points. As the team that dominated the first day, 4Thrives Esports appeared to be the clear favorite.

However, the second day was filled with drama and tension. 4Thrives Esports was the target of other teams trying to gain an advantage over Falak and his teammates. In Game 1, European team TT Esports successfully established a lead by securing a WWCD on Rondo. Slowly, the other teams began to increase their strength. Thai giants eArena shone in Game 2, securing a WWCD on Erangel. Games 3 and 4 were dominated by FURIA and Team Flash, respectively.

While many teams began to compete for the WWCD, 4Thrives Esports remained undefeated. Falak and his teammates continued to rack up points, securing match point right from the start of Game 2. ULF Esports secured match point in Game 4. In Game 5, S2G Esports secured a WWCD on Miramar. In Game 6, Aurora Gaming secured a WWCD in the PMGO 2026 S1 Grand Final. With ULF Esports eliminated, 4Thrives Esports emerged victorious in PMGO 2026 S1. Falak and his teammates' victory marked a new milestone for a Pakistani team on the global stage.
