Exos Heroes was released by LINE Games on May 28 in 149 countries on the Android and iOS platforms. This game has been a hit since its release in South Korea. The pre-registration phase for the global version had also managed to gather around 1.5 million players. Here are the reasons you need to play the game!

1. A Turn-Based RPG

In the writer’s opinion, most RPG fans prefer the turn-based system over action. This might be based on the very reason why they love the RPG genre in the first place since the RPGs on the PS1 console was 90 percent turn-based. 

The advantage of a turn-based RPG is that it can be played casually, as there’s no need to rush in every battle. Exos Heroes boasts the very same system from a convenient camera angle. 

2. Epic Storyline

Many RPGs on Playstation had such epic storylines that players might find quite appealing. A lot of RPGs on Playstation that already hold legendary statuses, such as the Suikoden, Wild Arms, or the Final Fantasy series. While some RPGs on the mobile platform tend to focus on the characters rather than the storyline to grab more players.

However, LINE Games truly had made a game with the storyline of the same level as the legendary RPGs on Playstation. In Exos Heroes, you’ll be playing as Zeon, a treasure hunter who roams in his Airship. In his journey, you’ll encounter various characters who will later join him.

Not just the storyline, the graphics in Exos Heroes can be considered as extraordinary for a mobile RPG. In the writer’s opinion, the graphics might be at the same level as Mobius Final Fantasy. Each character has their own unique skills with attack animation that might leave you in awe.

Due to its stunning graphics, not any device can run this game smoothly. It is recommended for you to use a smartphone with at least 4GB of RAM with Snapdragon 660 processor to really bring out the colors.

4. Gacha System

Gacha has become the norm for seemingly every mobile game nowadays. But the gacha system in Exos Heroes is quite promising as there’s a Fated Hero or SSR character guarantee after pulling out a certain number of gacha.

Xes is the currency to pull gacha in this game. Saving up for Xes from Achievement is quite easy so you can frequently make a pull. For your first gacha, you’ll also have an unlimited re-roll to look for the character that your heart desires. In short, the gacha system in Exos Heroes is not disappointing at all.

5. Hunt While Being Offline

Exploration is one of the many features offered in Exos Heroes. By using the Levistone, you can go for  Exploration to find certain items. There are Exploration and Smart Exploration. 

Exploration is can be performed while you’re going AFK, in other words, your search for those items will run autonomously. As for Smart Exploration, it’s an alternative for you when you have to Log-Off. You’ll obtain certain items once you log back in.
