Since his arrival into the series, Carlos Santana has been dubbed as the football/soccer cyborg. He deems that his purpose is solely to play football. The thought came from Santana’s heartbreaking origins story. He was abandoned by his parents when he was a baby in the middle of a football field.
The people around him and even Santana himself thinks that he was a god-sent or a Child of God. Santana was also trained rigorously into a football cyborg while setting his feelings aside. However, Santana changed gradually after meeting Tsubasa who plays with a different purpose.
