Unlike the Doctor Strange movie released last 2016, the sequel takes a horror approach. The sequel is directed by Sam Raimi, the director of Evil Dead. Sam Raimi is also the director of the Spider-Man trilogy by Sony, starring Tobey Maguire.

What makes this film interesting is the fact that Doctor Strange is accompanied by another superhero, Wanda Maximoff, or usually known as Scarlet Witch. In the comics, Scarlet Witch can alter the reality allowing her to change the reality.

2. Spookier
Marvel Studios stated that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness is different from its first film. This is proven by Sam Raimi that’s selected to direct the film. The film is spookier and also become the first horror film in the MCU.
3. Unveiling the Multiverse
Although Mysterio from Spider-Man: Far From Home reveals a fame multiverse. It seems like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness will reveal how multiverse is created. Thanos’ finger snap causes time and reality hole to open, and characters from other universes may cross worlds, like how Mysterio explains.
This will open unlimited possibilities for the plot. Like how dead characters may return or how X-Men and Fantastic Four appears in the MCU.
4. Many New Characters
Marvel Studios plans to present many new characters in MCU phase 4. Few of them will be revealed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness. Reportedly, the film will introduce many new characters such as America Chavez, Brother Voodoo, and Nightmare. Also, we will see characters that appear in the first film, such as Mordo.
5. PG-13 Rating
In San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President, stated that the sequel of Doctor Strange is rated PG-13. In this category, parents are strongly cautioned since some of the materials may be inappropriate for children under 13.
