Tetsuya Ogawa is the leader and bassist of the legendary Japanese rock band, L'Arc en Ciel. L'Arc en Ciel is recorded to have lent their songs for several hit animes such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Great Teacher Onizuka, Mobile Suit Gundam, and Rurouni Kenshin.

Since 2003, Tetsu likes to dress up in plaid pants and kilts with the same motif. In the video clip titled “Good Luck My Way”, Tetsu dresses like he is wearing a short skirt.

A shopaholic is someone unable to resist the urge to shop so he/she tends to spend so much time and money on shopping even though the things he/she buys are not always needed. That is one thing to describe Ogawa. He likes shopping even though he doesn't need the things he bought.

Ogawa is also known as a solo artist under the name TETSU69. The number 69 reflects the year he was born. The name TETSU69 changed to "tetsu" in 2007 with the release of Can't Stop Believing.

Ogawa has a unique habit that he often does at concerts. He often brings and distributes fruits to the audience, especially bananas. At several concerts, sometimes he gives lollipops to the audience.

5. Married with a Japanese Actress

In 2007, Tetsu married actress Ayana Sakai who’s 16 years younger than him. Apart from being an actress, Ayana Sakai is also known as a wedding organizer. The couple has two children.
