Synopsis of Yamada-kun to Lv999 No Koi Wo Suru

Tells the story of a woman named Akane Kinoshita who has a tragic love experience, namely being cheated on by her boyfriend who is a gamer. Annoyed by this fact, Akane chose to vent her anger by beating up the monsters in the game. In the game, Akane meets a boy named Yamada Akito who has an avatar in the form of a masked person who belongs to the same guild.

Akane also started talking with Yamada to vent about her love problem which had just foundered. Instead of being comforted, Akane meets Yamada, who is always indifferent and whose response is not what Akane wanted. When Akane attends a game event, she meets her ex who cheated on her and dresses up as prettily as possible to make her regret it. However, unexpected events occur, fortunately, Akane is accidentally helped by Yamada, who turns out to be a pro gamer who is quite famous, even her ex idolizes him.

The manga was written and illustrated by Mashiro and was first published on March 7, 2019, digitally via Comic Smart and was booked by Media Factory, so far the manga has 7 volumes and is currently still ongoing. Meanwhile, the anime version is being worked on by Studio Madhouse which began airing in April 2023 and is scheduled to consist of 13 episodes.
