1. Shirahoshi

The way Luffy treats Shirahoshi is the same way how Ace treated her when she was a child, tough but caring. Even though Shirahoshi just got to know Luffy, she soon became very fond of him. Besides being very caring, according to Shirahoshi herself, Luffy is also very friendly.

Before parting with the Straw Hats, Shirahoshi promised that if one day she met Luffy, she would not be weepy anymore. Luffy also promised to take her to the forest on the land one day. Shirahoshi also braves herself up to go to Reverie so that Luffy would no longer call her a crybaby.

2. Rebecca

Even though she already knew Luffy's real name, Rebecca still called him Lucci. Luffy also promised to reunite Rebecca with her father, Kyros. After that promise was fulfilled and Luffy managed to free Dressrosa from Doflamingo, Rebecca thanked Luffy and started to become a fan.

3. Coby

Coby is the first person Luffy met on his journey. After saving Coby from Alvida, Luffy sailed for a while with him and they became friends. Since the beginning, Coby dreamed of becoming a Marine, so he joined the organization after Luffy defeated Morgan.

The two of them reunited at Water Seven. Even though they are in the opposite party, they still consider each other's friends. In the Reverie arc, Coby is moved and proud to see Luffy's action at Whole Cake Island.

4. Boa Hancock

Since Luffy's fight against her siblings, Hancock began to fall in love with the captain of the Straw Hats. Hancock saw Luffy as a different person from other men who immediately fell in love with her.

Thanks to that, Hancock has helped Luffy many times, from infiltrating Impel Down, the war at Marineford, to always bringing him food for 2 years in Ruskaina. Because of her beauty and strength, Hancock is a suitable woman to be the wife of the Pirate King in the future.

5. Bartolomeo

Bartolomeo is Luffy's biggest fan and also the other Straw Hat members who display their posters on his ship. Bartolomeo also became part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet after the incident at Dressrosa.

The user of the Bari Bari no Mi helped Luffy a lot during his fight against Doflamingo in Dressrosa. He has great respect for all the Straw Hat crew. Bartolomeo started to like Luffy since he was almost killed by Buggy in Loguetown.
