1. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Day (2004)

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Day is based on the movie. The development of this game is quite interesting as Vin Diesel is reported to have been involved during the process. He even voiced the character and consulted with Starbreeze Studios for a better ending.

This game was first released on PC and Xbox. With a decent quality, the game received good reviews. As a result, the game that was released alongside the movie gained a great reception. While its storyline differs from the movie, the game is set in the same universe and timeline. It’s definitely entertaining!

2. Wheelman (2009)

Five years after being featured in The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Day, Vin Diesel made a return in a game by Midway Games Inc with Ubisoft as the publisher in March 2009, Wheelman.

This game features an open-world driving element, which was quite refreshing. Vin Diesel plays Milo Burik, an undercover agent among criminals in Barcelona, Spain.

As a Wheelman, Burik is a vehicle expert who does the ‘dirty works’. To get these dirty works, a Wheelman had to maintain the balance between being a criminal and an undercover agent

3. The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (2009)

After Wheelman, Vin Diesel returned with The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. This game serves as the sequel of the series which was redeveloped with better graphics. The sequel takes Richard B. Riddick on an even more thrilling adventure.

4. Fast & Furious Crossroads (2020)

Vin Diesel might gain his popularity after the huge success of playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious series. Yet it’s been quite the contrary with the recently-released Fast & Furious Crossroads. 

Similar to the last Fast & Furious movie, the game is action-packed with an over-the-top list of vehicles. Throughout the game, players will explore numerous exotic places, engaging in international espionage. While making your way through new enemies, you have to carry out various heists, which involve fast-paced actions.

But unfortunately, Fast & Furious Crossroads was a big letdown released in 2020. Solely relying on the big name of the Fast & Furious franchise didn’t help this game to make it in the market.

The reason being, a lot of gamers have complained about the lousy graphics, which look more similar to old PlayStation 2 or Xbox 360 games, instead of the next-gen consoles.

5. Ark II (2022)

Next up is Ark II, which has just been recently announced during The Game Awards 2020. The announcement managed to gain a lot of attention since the franchise has been around for a long time yet the last entry was released three years ago, Ark: Survival Evolved. On top of that, Vin Diesel’s involvement in this sequel has built some hype over this title. In the trailer video, it appears that Vin Diesel will be playing as a leader of a certain tribe in a jungle.

He will face various frightening enemies, such as monsters and dinosaurs. With this trailer video, it seems like Ark II will have a Single-Player mode that features Vin Diesel as the protagonist of the game. Let’s see.
