1. Nana

The first hero you should try to counter Paquito is Nana. It’s no secret that Nana is the best choice to counter heroes like Paquito as she has disruptive CCs. Aside from transforming her opponents into dolls with her Molina Smooch (2), Nana can also stun multiple targets with large AoE using her Molina Blitz (U).

Paquito won’t be able to move freely when he goes toe-to-toe with Nana on the battlefield. If he strayed a bit too far, Paquito will easily be turned into a doll and ganked.

2. Tigreal

Tigreal is a Tank with useful CCs that can maim Paquito’s skills. When playing against Tigreal, Paquito will certainly have a bad time and won’t be able to move freely as Tigreal will hamper his movements. 

With Sacred Hammer (2) and Implosion (Ultimate), Tigreal can provide CCs with long durations.

3. Chou

Another great hero to counter Paquito is Chou, another martial artist. Both heroes do share some similarities, but Chou is arguably superior to Paquito as he has more CCs and higher damage.

With The Way of the Dragon (U), Chou can kick him back and render him immobilized for a few seconds. Chou’s Jeet Kune Do (1) can also be used to harass him.

4. Helcurt

As a hero who relies heavily on his skills, Paquito can be stopped easily by a hero who can silence him like Helcurt. With his Passive and Shadow Transition (1), he can silence his targets.

Thus, Paquito won’t be able to use any of his skills for a while. During the silence, Helcurt can finish him off in an instant with the high burst damage from Deadly Stinger (2).

If you’re using Paquito against Helcurt, be wary of his Dark Night Falls (U), which will limit your vision, as he’s pulling off an ambush.

5. Lancelot

Last but not least is Lancelot, an Assassin with insane burst damage. Lancelot can obliterate Paquito abruptly with his tremendous damage. On top of that, he can also dodge Paquito’s attacks as some of his skills are iframes.
