As you may already know, Genshin Impact has a lot of selected seiyuus from various anime series. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, the seiyuu of Xiao in Genshin Impact is one of them. He’s voiced numerous characters from popular anime series!

So, what anime characters are voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka? Without further ado, let’s get into it!

1. Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) - Sword Art Online

Kirito is the main character of the isekai anime series, Sword Art Online. When the series aired for the first time, a lot of MMORPG players went solo as they were inspired by Kirito. Kirito is a character who travels by himself and is not associated with any guild.

Sword Art Online is set in a futuristic online game, where players can use their thought to control their avatar in the game using the “NerveGear”. On the first day of the launch, the developer, Akihiko Kayaba, announces that the players can’t log out from the game. All of them are trapped in the game. And, to make matters worse, if they die in the game, they die in real life.

2. Hashibira Inosuke - Kimetsu no Yaiba

While Genshin Impact Xiao seems like a calm and collected character, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka also voices a chatty character -- Hashibira Inosuke, from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado during the Taisho era. One day, Tanjiro witnesses his family getting slaughtered by the demons when he’s out. The only surviving family member is his little sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon.

In the series, Hashibira Inosuke is one of the main characters who accompany Tanjiro in his journey to slay the demons.

3. Yukihira Souma - Shokugeki no Souma

Matsuoka also voices Yukihira Souma from the cooking/food anime series, Shokugeki no Souma! Yukihira Souma is the son of the restaurant owner Yukihira, who’s the 92nd alumni of the Totsuki Culinary Academy, and once topped the Elite Ten Council.

4. Bell Cranel - Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka

Bell Cranel is the main protagonist and the captain of the Hestia family. Bell Cranel has the appearance of a teenage boy with white hair and red eyes. He’s often likened to a rabbit due to his adorable appearance.

5. Sora - No Game No Life

Sora is a lanky young man with white skin and spiky maroon hair. He has red eyes with dark bags under them, indicating a lack of sleep due to excessive gaming, and has a sly grin.
