Ryou is the name for Haki in Wano Country. There are only a few people who can master this technique. Old man Hyogoro once showed this technique to Luffy during the Sumo Inferno. Ryou can be said as armor or a weapon to attack. Some characters in One Piece has the potential to awaken this power. Here they are!

1. Roronoa Zoro

After his training under Mihawk for 2 years, Zoro became stronger than ever. Aside from Luffy, he’s another of Straw Hat Pirates with the massive development. His Busoshoku Haki that used on his sword can increase his slashing power.

Zoro’s main goal is to defeat Mihawk before he can be the strongest swordsman in the world. Because of that, he needs to improve his Haki that he already mastered. If he had faced Mihawk later, it’s possible that Zoro already mastered other Hakis like Ryou for example.

2. Sabo

Currently, Sabo is the second strongest man in the Revolutionary Army and the “right-hand” of the most wanted man, Monkey D. Dragon. Sabo’s power is shouldn’t be underestimated, moreover after he ate Mera Mera no Mi. Eating the fruit makes Sabo immune to physical attacks, this makes him a fighter that can tie with the Admirals.

Aside from mastered Mera Mera no Mi, Sabo also mastered Busoshoku Haki as he showed at Dressrosa. There’s a possibility that he already mastered Ryou, even though it’s yet to be described. In the future, Sabo can be the owner of this ability.

3. Akainu

Sakazuki, or also known as Akainu, is a Marines Fleet Admiral that currently replacing Sengoku. His Magu Magu no Mi allows him to turn into a magma person and a fighter with the strongest attacks like Oda described. He also mastered Busoshoku Haki as well as Kenbunshoku Haki.

Probably Akainu once used Ryou during the Battle of Marineford, but we’re yet to realize this. Becoming one of the strongest fighters in One Piece, there’s a possibility that Akainu can awaken Ryou at the highest level.

4. Jinbei

Jinbei is the 10th member of the Straw Hat Pirates to join and uses the Fishman Karate and Fishman Jujutsu. This Fishman is the master of Busoshoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki as seen during the Whole Cake Island.

Jinbei also one of the strongest fighters in the crew. Even though he’s already strong, Jinbei needs to get stronger for battles to come. Mastering Busoshoku Haki makes him able to awaken high-level Ryou.

5. Trafalgar Law

Law is one of the Worst Generations as well as a pirate with the highest bounty for 500 million Belly. With Ope Ope no Mi, Law can make his opponents vulnerable. What he needs right now is Haki's improvement because his own is still not enough.

Law probably becomes one of the most important figures for Luffy who can make him win against Kaido. This pirate, whose real name Trafalgar D. Water Law, still can become stronger and has the potential to master Haki from Wano Country called Ryou.

So that’s the list of characters in One Piece who has the potential to master Ryou. If you find this article interesting, share it with your friends. Stay tuned on Dunia Games for more articles and don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
