The sequel to Satan's Slaves, Satan's Slaves 2: Communion, finally hit cinemas a few days ago. The movie is still in cinemas, and you can even watch the IMAX version for an even more immersive Indonesian horror experience.
Satan's Slaves 2: Communion unravels numerous mysteries in the series, yet there are still more mysteries left hidden, which leads to fans speculating about the things that happen in Satan's Slaves 2: Communion.
On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you a list of the biggest Satan's Slaves 2: Communion fan theories. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
1. The Mysterious Herosase
Joko Anwar’s 2009-released The Forbidden Door introduces a secret society named Herosase. Herosase is an organization in which the members can access and watch numerous sadistic, horrific videos to fulfill their darkest desires. However, the members aren’t allowed to ask questions regarding the videos and any events that perspire within the organization.
According to the YouTube channel Cine Crib, in Pintu Terlarang, the number “42651378” that is written on the manager’s door in the Herosase building, refers to the word “Herosase”.
And, if we put all of these letters in this combination of numbers in an order of 1-8, it will read “Seahorse” — which is the symbol that’s featured in Satan's Slaves 2: Communion.
Because of that, many viewers speculate that the satanic cult in Satan's Slaves may be the same cult in Joko Anwar’s The Forbidden Door, which is Herosase.
2. The Mystery and Correlation Between Raminom and Mother
Raminom is a character that bears a striking resemblance to Mother (Ayu Laksmi) in Satan's Slaves 2, who makes her appearance in the later part of the movie. Raminom is also the figure worshiped by the satanic cult in this movie.
Raminom’s appearance has raised questions in the minds of the audience given the lack of info about this character. And she ends up getting defeated by the supernatural journalist, Budiman.
However, fans speculate that Raminom isn’t the mastermind in Satan's Slaves. She’s just one of the entities that serve as a vessel for Satan.
Fans came up with this idea as the weapon that Budiman used to ward off Raminom was the Pear of Anguish, a medieval torture tool that was used to torture women who were suspected of being witches.
Therefore, some fans conclude that Raminom is a witch from the medieval era who gained her powers from Satan.
3. The Mysterious Couple
Just like the prequel, Satan's Slaves 2: Communion has an ending that features two characters, Batara (Fachri Albar) and Darminah (Asmara Abigail).
Unfortunately, both their identities and goals remain mysteries.
However, we learn that they are probably not humans. In a scene where we can see the participants of the 1955 Asian-African Conference Summit, Batara and Darminah can be seen in their similar appearance as the time the movie is set, even though the picture was taken 29 years prior.
In Satan's Slaves 1, there’s a dialogue that states that there are other creatures more powerful than humans and jinn, and they’ve been around since the dawn of time, reaping human souls.

The ending of Satan's Slaves 1 also shows Darminah who says that it’s time for them to reap the harvest once again. So, it’s likely that Batara and Darminah are the said creatures.
Many fans have begun to speculate that Batara and Darminah are the two entities that go beyond time and possibly outdated Raminom.
4. Wisnu’s Oddities
In Satan's Slaves 2, there’s a new character named Wisnu. Just like Ian, he’s a child who communicates using sign language.
However, how come Wisnu, who uses sign language to communicate, can control the demons? So, many fans speculate that Wisnu’s parents were members of the satanic cult, and his family has gained possession of a book containing secret sign language.
Some fans also believe that Wisnu killed his father by locking him up during a fire. Therefore, Wisnu is haunted by a figure who begs him to open the scorching door.
Wisnu is an utterly strange character and full of oddities. It’s possible that Wisnu will make another appearance in the next Satan's Slaves movie.
5. All of the Residents in the Flats Are All Part of the Satanic Cult
The last Satan's Slaves 2 theory is about the residents in the flats. Many fans believe that all of them are followers of the cult.
From the neighbors who look strange when Rini is throwing out the garbage, to the disappearance of the entire residents on the night of the incident.
Therefore, many fans believe that it’s highly likely that all of them are followers of the satanic cult.
So, those were the 5 biggest Satan's Slaves 2 fan theories. What do you think about this movie? Do you have a thought-provoking theory about this movie?
