Boro’s appearance in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is shown when a village is hit by a deadly virus outbreak. People infected with the virus are exposed to diseases that make their bodies weak. The epidemic put everyone in despair, until finally Boro and his men who dress and act like saints appear to be a fake savior.

Boro's healing made him recognized as a savior among many of the people affected by the plague. In fact, it was Boro himself who spread it through his virus fog. The desperation of many people seeking help to survive the plague was exploited by Boro who deactivated the virus he was spreading so that he could be considered as a savior. Boro's cunning tactics earned him many loyal followers who were willing to give their lives to the old geezer.

4. His Regeneration Made Him the Second Strongest Member After Jigen

Just like in Naruto: Shippuden, enemies with the ability to regenerate are really troublesome. Boro's extraordinary regeneration makes him the second strongest Inner Kara after Jigen, the leader.

As seen in Boro's fight with Konoha's Team 7 shinobi, the parts of Boro's body that are hit by an attack are easily destroyed, but they  regenerate quickly. Boro's destroyed organs can be reshaped as if they were not hit by any attack, making it tough for Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada, and Mitsuki since they have limited amounts of chakra. 

5. Regeneration Source that Moves Around in His Body

Even the strongest characters in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations have weaknesses too. Boro's tremendous regeneration has a weakness, namely the source of regeneration in his body. When the regeneration source is destroyed, the regeneration power also disappears, and that is the strategy that Captain Sarada must carry out as team leader 7.

The attacks coming from Team 7 had destroyed most of Boro's body leaving only the lower half of his body but then his body regenerated. The lower part of his body was also destroyed by Kawaki until only the upper half of his body remained and the destroyed half regenerated. The conclusion is that there’s a source of regeneration that can move around in his body so as not to be destroyed. Sarada was able to spot the core thanks to Sharingan and destroyed the core with Chidori before it can move to another body part.

The destruction of Boro's source of regeneration makes his battle even more exciting. Instead of immediately losing, it made Boro turn into a giant.

Like the Titan in Shingeki no Kyojin, Boro, who is a giant with many octopus-like legs, easily beats the kids from Team 7 who are much smaller in size. He knocked them out with one hit, including Sarada who was beaten by Boro and immediately helped by Boruto. As a result, Boruto was badly beaten by the giant Boro, until finally Boruto turned into Borushinki, the form of Otsutsuki that rose in Boruto's body.
