Tokyo Revengers is a manga that was turned into an anime and also a live-action movie with many fans anticipating the story about the world of motorcycle gang delinquents spiced with time travel. Arguably, one of the best arcs of Tokyo Revengers is in the Valhalla Arc or Bloody Halloween.
The Valhalla arc is a thrilling arc as it reveals the beginning of Tokyo Manji. As a rival gang of Tokyo Manji, Valhalla is a gang that is quite unique. Here are the 6 facts about Valhalla, the gang that clashed with Tokyo Manji in the Bloody Halloween incident. Check this out!
1. The Headless Angel Logo Indicate the Gang is Leaderless
The swastika is Tokyo Manji’s symbol, while Valhalla as a rival gang has a quite unique logo, namely a headless angel. Valhalla’s logo has a deeper meaning, it signifies that Valhalla is a gang with no acting leader.
The vice-chairman of the gang is Hanma Shuji and he has the authority to regulate his gang members and conduct various tests to accept new people. Osanai, Moebius’ ex-leader, told Takemichi and Chifuyu that Kisaki Tetta was the leader of Valhalla behind the scenes, but since Tetta joined Tokyo Manji, Valhalla clearly had no leader.
Adult Draken who was sentenced to death in 2017 also told Takemichi and Naoto that Mikey had been the leader Valhalla after Tokyo Manji was defeated by the gang in a brawl on October 31, 2005. The incident called Bloody Halloween led to Mikey killing Kazutora out of revenge for killing his brother and also witnessing his best friend Baji dying in front of him, but Mikey wasn’t arrested because Kisaki Tetta prepared a substitute suspect who would admit to being Kazutora's killer.
Mikey became the leader of Valhalla because Tokyo Manji was absorbed by Valhalla. Kisaki Tetta became the leader of Tokyo Manji and eventually turned the gang into an evil organization. Takemichi must change the past to keep Baji alive during the Bloody Halloween brawl.
2. Founded by Ex-Moebius Members
When they lost to Tokyo Manji in a mass brawl on August 3, 2005, Moebius seemed to have disbanded and its former members founded a new gang called Valhalla. The interim leader of Moebius, Hanma Shuji, also briefly told Mikey before serving as vice leader of Valhalla.
Actually, Moebius has split up, some are followers of Osanai and some are followers of Hanma Shuji with Kisaki Tetta. Osanai was only used by Kisaki Tetta as a stepping stone, but he was vilified by Tetta to make him gain Mikey’s favor in Tokyo Manji.
3. Kazutora the Founder of Tokyo Manji Joined the Gang After Getting Out of Jail
Kazutora, the young man with a tiger tattoo on his neck, is one of the founders of Tokyo Manji who later joins Valhalla. The former assault squad in Tokyo Manji is imprisoned for killing Shinichiro Sano, Mikey's older brother when he wanted to steal his motorbike for Mikey's birthday present. Strangely, even though the crime was Kazutora's initiative without Mikey's knowledge, the young man instead blamed Mikey for the murder that put him in prison.
Although Mikey has given testimony in defense of Kazutora and helped reduce his prison sentence to 2 years, Kazutora still wants to kill Mikey. Kazutora joins Valhalla in his attempt to destroy his best friend Mikey and Tokyo Manji that he also founded.

4. Baji Joins Valhalla After Passing Various Tests
The beating of Kisaki Tetta by Takemichi during the coronation ceremony of Tetta as the new head of Tokyo Manji’s 3rd division made Baji beat Takemichi and led to his betrayal from Touman to Valhalla. Mikey gave Takemichi a difficult mission to bring Baji back to Tokyo Manji, even though the former first division leader and one of the founders of Touman was very serious about joining Valhalla.
Baji undergoes a series of tests to join Valhalla to test his loyalty by beating a Tokyo Manji member closest to him, which is Chifuyu. The second test that Baji took was a testimony test with Takemichi as a witness to Baji's betrayal.
5. Headquartered in an Abandoned Arcade Game Center
Kazutora invites Takemichi to visit Valhalla’s headquarters in an abandoned arcade game center to witness Baji's defection. The image of a headless angel is clearly visible at the entrance, with many of its members gathered inside.
The vice-chairman, Hanma Shuji, sat on his throne in the form of a former arcade game machine, watching the various tests that were given to Baji to join his group. When Baji was declared to have passed all his entrance exams, a white jacket with the symbol of a headless angel was given to him to wear.
6. A Brawl with Tokyo Manji on October 31, 2005
One of the major events involving Valhalla was the clash with Tokyo Manji on October 31, 2005. The mass brawl at a used car salvage was also known as Bloody Halloween, which was attended by many members of Japan's famous delinquents.
Hansen, a member of the notorious Ikebukuro criminal organization since 1988, became a jury for the brawl, although in the end he was beaten by Kazutora who was fed up with all the rules given in this brawl.
