1. Lara Tybur is the Owner of War Hammer Titan

As a part of the Tybur family, Lara Tybur is an Eldia that became a Marley noble. The Tybur family is one of the highest-ranked families in Marley.

After the Great Titan War, the Tybur family obtained the War Hammer Titan and passed it to fellow family members. Now the War Hammer Titan is kept by Willy Tybur’s sister, Lara Tybur.

Attack on Titan initially thought that the head of the Tybur family is the keeper of War Hammer Titan, but their assumption was wrong. The Tybur family is keeping it a secret. 

2. Lara Tybur is Introduced in the Anime and not the Manga

If you only read the manga, then the name Lara Tybur might confuse you.

In the name, the keeper of War Hammer Titan remains anonymous, only know as Willy Tybur’s sister. No name was mentioned since the beginning of the War Hammer Titan discussion. But Lara is a character we often see compared to other Tybur family members.

3. War Hammer Special Hardening Technique

Armored Titan is known as a titan whose body is hardened. But that’s all about the hardened technique of Armored Titan. It’s different with War Hammer Titan.

War Hammer Titan is an expert at hardening and manipulating its skin. War Hammer’s white look is a result of hardening its entire skin like Armored Titan. But what make it cooler is that War Hammer Titan can create weapons with this technique. It can create a sword, bow, and hammer.

4. The Only “Clothed” Titan

No Titan in the series is “clothed” be it a normal Titan or a Titan Shifter. Armored Titan may seem like it’s wearing armor, but it’s just hardened skin. Cart Titan only wears a helmet but the body is uncovered.

War Hammer looked like it’s wearing “clothes”. Its hardened skin covered its entire body like a jumpsuit.

5. Can be Controlled Remotely

Most Titan Shifter kept its user in its nape, but not with War Hammer Titan. The owner can control the titan remotely from a distance.

When controlling the Titan remotely, Lara is encased in a crystal and connected by a cbale of flesh. The remote operation confused Eren once.

6. War Hammer Titan Passed Down to Eren

Rather than have Lara die and War Hammer titan power passed to another Eldia, Eren decided to eat her to get the power.

Eren destroyed the crystal encasing Lara using Jaw titan’s mouth. Jaw Titan’s has a strong bite that can destroy the crystal.

Eren then drinks Lara’s blood from the destroyed crystal and obtained the power of War Hammer Titan. As of now, Eren has Attack Titan, Founding Titan dan War Hammer Titan in his body.
