Soon Birds of Prey movie will hit theaters and can be enjoyed by DC fans and moviegoers alike. Moreover, the schedule has stated for February 5, 2020 release. The Harley Quinn character will return and reprised by Margot Robbie, and she will introduce us with her new friends and forming a group named Birds of Prey.

For those who still haven’t familiar with this female group, Birds of Prey consists of Black Canary, Batgirl, dan Huntress. Not only superheroes, but this group also includes villains. So it’s understandable if Harley Quinn joins the group in the movie.

Before watching the movie, here are the few strongest Birds of Prey members in the comics for you to know.

7. Black Canary

Black Canary said as the leader of the group in the movie. Dinah Lance is a brave woman and a skilled martial artist. She also has a superhuman ability called Canary Cry, a cry with ultrasonic waves.

Since she was a little, she grew up with other superheroes. After training for a long time, Dinah continues her mother’s mission as the vigilante called Black Canary.

6. Huntress

Huntress can be said as an antihero. Real name Helena Bertinelli, she was born in the mafia environment of Gotham. Bertinelli grew up as a vigilante to her family killer.

Even though she acts like a superhero, but her methods to interrogate people are rough and extreme. Huntress doesn’t have a superpower, but she is skilled in martial arts, tracing traces, using various weapons, and master of disguise.

5. Renee Montoya

Renee Montoya is a female detective from Gotham. She tasked in the special crime unit, taking care of every villain hunted by Batman.

In the comics, Montoya was fired from her institution due to a corruption case. Montoya doesn’t have a superpower, but she is a master of using firearms due to her as a detective.

4. Cassandra Cain

Cassandra Cain, or also known as Cassandra Wayne, is the real identity of Batgirl. Donning a costume akin to Batman, Cain also takes action to defeat few strong enemies like Lady Shiva.

Cain firstly appeared as a Batgirl with Asian descends in the comics, but later succeeded by Stephanie Brown in 2009. Cain is back as Batgirl at the end of 2010 as Batman’s right-hand man in Hong Kong until she receives a new identity called Black Cat.

3. Hawkgirl

In the beginning, Hawkgirl of Kendra Saunders joined the Birds of Prey was after Oracle -- or Barbara Gordon’s Batgirl-- asked her to deal with criminal group Secret Six. After joined, she often encountered Secret Six, especially one of the members called Scandal.

Not only durable, as a Thanagar alien, Hawkgirl also can fly using her wings and has a mace weapon created by a particular metal, Nth Metal.

2. Big Barda

This New God race dominated with the male, but there’s also a female New God named Big Barda. She is an ex-minion of Darkseid who later become the superhero and the member of Justice League.

Hence her name, Big Barda, has a massive body with 210 cm height and 150 kg weight, and her body still proportional and voluptuous. Barda has a gigantic physique. Because when she was a little, she was put in the special machine to increase her power 20 times.

1. Katana

After her husband and her children got killed due to love affair, Tatsu Yamashiro swears to become stronger. She is honing her swordsman skill under Sensei Tadashi. After a few years have passed, Tatsu goes to South America and vows upon her husband and her children to eradicate evil.

Since that time, Tatsu Yamashiro acts as Katana as her alias. Katana has a sword named Soultaker, and it contains her husband’s soul. As a lady samurai, Katana is very proficient using swords, unarmed hand to hand combat, genius-level intellect, and agile and others
