2. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

Follows the life of three ordinary high school boys in Sanada North High School, Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake, this anime shows their daily life at school. From basketball tournament, strange stories at the workplace, a romantic encounter with an unexpected girl, to the idle boys talk. 

It might sound dull, but once you’ve decided to watch one of the episodes, you’ll burst into laughter by their silliness. 

3. Kill Me Baby

The anime, released in 2012, tells the life of a normal high school girl, Yasuna, and her best friend, Sonya, an assassin who goes to the same school as her. In this short-lived anime (aired for just about 3 months), Yasuna and Sonya highschool life is full of school jokes. 

Oftentimes, Sonya’s habits of being an assassin make life harder for Yasuna. For instance, she would accidentally break someone’s neck while trying to hug them. It’s just as silly as Gintama!

4. Sket Dance

5. Detroit Metal City

The anime tells the story of a young man named Soichi who dreams of a career as a pop musician. But instead, Soichi’s forced to become the lead singer of a metal band called Detroit Metal City. Although the anime is a bit indecent, the comedy in Detroit Metal City will get you laughing!

6. Nichijou

While the title roughly translates to "daily mundane life," this anime series tells the story of 4 high school girls that are far from normal. One of them is a robot, their Principal loves to wrestle with deer, and there’s also a teacher who got tangled in a one-sided relationship.

These 26 Episodes of absurdities will get you feeling nostalgic about your high school days unknowingly, and makes you miss doing stupid things with your friends. Some of you might be just as ludicrous back in your high school days as the characters in this anime.

7. Grand Blue

This anime is an adaptation of the manga by Kenji Inoue. Any fan of comedy anime series would surely already be familiar with him, right? Yup, he’s the creator of the Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu series, so, this one’s undoubtedly funny. One thing to keep in mind, this anime is about sea-diving!

Grand Blue follows the story of a young man, Kitahara Iori, who just got into college. He lives with his uncle and cousin in a diving store. However, this is where the 'normal' college life he expected turned out to be the complete opposite. You are guaranteed to crack a laugh in each minute you’re watching this anime.
