When it was released, Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime came with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS right out of the box. Interestingly, the smartphone comes with a hybrid dual-slot SIM card and 1 microSD slot so the user can switch between their cellular without turning the phone off.
For the security feature, the phone lacks a fingerprint sensor. But it had other features such as unlock pattern, PIN, and password that were available by default.
The smartphone had an 8 MP plus LED Flash at the back. And a 5MP selfie camera with a Selfie Flash feature.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime also had other helpful apps such as Smart Manager. The app can quickly and easily check the phone’s status. Such as RAM usage, Internal Storage usage, security status, and battery status.

One of the downsides of Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime was that the phone heats up quickly. The phone was known to heat up quickly when running an app or playing games. Especially when used for playing a heavy mobile game.
