Jujutsu Kaisen has a grading system that categorizes the characters based on their power, starting from Grade 4 as the lowest to Special Grade as the highest. Characters that are categorized as the Special Grade Sorcerer are not only the strongest but also among the rarest of the entire human race due to being an anomaly with incredible power in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Who are the characters that make it in the category?

Here are four characters that have been confirmed as the Special Grade Sorcerers:

1. Satoru Gojo

Best sensei, case closed. Satoru Gojo is arguably the most overpowered character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He possesses Six Eyes that grant him godlike sight and sensor, which means almost nothing can escape his sight. Additionally, Six Eyes also compliments his Limitless abilities to the point of never having to run out of cursed energy when fighting, according to Yuta Okkotsu.

But that’s just his Six Eyes ability. As for his Limitless, explaining this ability is going to take an entire article to explain. But to put it simply, Limitless allows Gojo to control space of any size, even the size of atoms and cause every attack to automatically miss him while dishing high-pressure attacks in a space himself. Overpowered, indeed!

2. Suguru Geto

Gojo’s classmate and the antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen and its prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen: 0 is also among the Special Grade Sorcerer group due to his ability to manipulate cursed spirits. Like in Pokemon, Ghetto can capture, dominate and enslave cursed spirits.

As if his ability is limitless, Ghetto can even capture Special Grade Curse, a group of the best cursed spirits out there, and collect them for his own use. Since the manga states Geto has thousands of cursed spirits and is still counting, it’s safe to say he is a one-man army.

3. Yuki Tsukumo

Not much to say about Yuki Tsukumo’s ability because she rarely takes action in the manga so far. However, chapter 77 states that Tsukumo is one of the four currently existing Special Grade Sorcerers, and she’s also a mentor for Aoi Todo, a very powerful Grade 1 sorcerer.

4. Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta first appeared in Jujutsu Kaisen: 0, the series’ prequel. He has a very powerful special grade cursed spirit called Rika the “Queen of Cursed Spirit” who can defeat even Suguru Geto in the prequel manga.

Aside from Rika, Yuta himself is a powerful sorcerer with a massive amount of cursed energy that’s even bigger than Gojo. However, because he lacks the Six Eyes, he tends to run out of cursed energy much faster than Gojo.

In addition to these four characters, there are three other characters that qualify as the Special Grade Sorcerers. In fact, one of them has been confirmed to be qualified enough to be a part of the special group. Here are these three characters:

5. Toji Zenin

Toji was born with no cursed energy due to the heavenly restriction imposed on him. Despite that, he possesses incredible physical strength that’s capable of defeating even Gojo (before he receives his maximum power) and Geto in a single day.

During the Shibuya Incident Arc, Toji can also defeat a special grade cursed spirit called Dagon single handedly, even though Dagon was capable of defeating two Grade 1 sorcerers and Maki beforehand.

6. Maki Zenin

Still under the same clan as Toji, Maki was also born with no cursed energy due to the same restriction. To compensate for that, she possesses amazing physical strength that’s still not on par with Toji yet.

By the end of Shibuya Incident Arc, the manga explains that Maki isn’t as strong as Toji yet due to having a bit of cursed energy linked with her twins, Mai. After Mai sacrifices herself, Maki awakens her full potential like Toji and massacres the entire Zenin clan by herself.

Due to this accomplishment, despite not being stated in the manga, Maki qualifies as a Special Grade Sorcerer.

7. Masamichi Yaga

The head of Tokyo branch Jujutsu High School is officially a Grade 1 sorcerer, but no one expected him to qualify as a Special Grade Sorcerer. In chapter 147, the manga states that Masamichi is about to become a part of the Special Grade Sorcerer.

This is because Masamichi possesses the ability to create a cursed corpse (like Panda) that has an independent cursed energy with infinite energy and the ability of possessing self-consciousness and intelligence. In fact, Masamichi has the strength to build his own army, but he doesn’t tell how he does that to the Jujutsu elderly, hence his status still as a Grade 1 sorcerer.
