Free Fire is known as a game that often holds collaborations, starting from anime, video games, and to the latest, real-life persons (both DJ and world-class football athlete). From new characters, game modes, music videos to exclusive in-game merchandise, all are presented by Garena to please the Survivors. In this list, here are the seven best Free Fire collaborations that have accompanied Survivors throughout 2020!

Ragnarok Online

Uniting two gaming communities at once, Free Fire once collaborated with the legendary MMORPG game named Ragnarok Online (RO) back in February. The Free Fire x Ragnarok collaboration invites Survivors to reminisce with Ragnarok game with Ragnarok-themed in-game content such as Pet Poring, Mr. Smile's mask, and the Assassin Cross bundle.

Joe Taslim

During the Free Fire Indonesia Masters (FFIM) 2020 Spring Grand Finals last March, Garena proudly announced a collaboration with an Indonesian action star, Joe Taslim. Joe was introduced as an in-game character named Jota, making him the first Indonesian to feature in Free Fire. Jota is the second real-life person to feature in Free Fire following Alok, who the latter is also a famous person in real life.

Money Heist

A popular Netflix series titled Money Heist (also known as La Casa de Papel / LCDP) was the major collaboration with Free Fire back in September. The Free Fire x Money Heist brought exclusive bundles, merchandise, Money Printer in-game mode, and a promotional video starring Joe Taslim.

KSHMR

After the success with DJ Alok in 2019, Free Fire once again collaborated with one of the world's famous DJs, KSHMR. The Free Fire x KSHMR collaboration featured a new character, K, or Captain Booyah, a new music video titled “One More Round” and the Booyah Day in-game event in October 2020.

Kimetsu no Yaiba

Maybe many Indonesian Survivors don't know that Free Fire once collaborated with a popular anime called Kimetsu no Yaiba in 2020. The Free Fire x Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train collaboration was first announced in November by Garena Thailand and until now, there is no information regarding its presence on other Free Fire servers.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Free Fire x CR7 could be said as one of the most ambitious video game collaborations this year. Garena collaborated with a world soccer superstar from Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) to introduce Chrono and Operation Chrono event in December 2020. Not only that, but one of the world's most expensive football player also invited gamers to play Free Fire with the Operation Chrono promotional video.

One-Punch Man

The rumor about FF x One-Punch Man collaboration was once appeared alongside with Free Fire x CR7 rumor back in November. Even though the collaboration itself will appear in the game in January 2021, several leaked One-Punch Man in-game items have been around on social media, even two One-Punch Man emotes called “I'm Saitama! ” and "Obliteration" can be found in the in-game Collection menu.
