Some of the good guys in Black Clover are introduced with extraordinary magic. These abilities can help them defeat stronger enemies. But what if they were introduced as villains instead? This time, Dunia Games would like to discuss a few Black Clover characters who are more suitable to be a villain in the series!

1. Mereoleona Vermilion

In the eyes of friends and foes, Mereoleona's strength is terrifying. With powerful physical strength as well as tremendous Mana, she can dominate every battle. Mereoleona doesn’t need a big effort to beat most of her opponents. She is even feared by the other Magic Knight Captains as well.

Mereoleona has all the characteristics to be a villain. She doesn't like the Clover Kingdom itself. This is why maybe she looks more suited to be a villain. Just imagine, who can stop her if she goes on a rampage and wants to destroy the kingdom?

2. Yami Sukehiro

The captain of Black Bull might be more suitable to be a villain rather than a good guy. He mastered dark magic which is effective against demons. His muscular and robust body makes him able to intimidate people. He also dislikes rules and is hated by nobles because he came from a foreign country.

Yami has all the elements to be a villain or an antagonist. What makes Yami attractive is his kindness. He doesn't mind recruiting troubled foreigners to join Black Bull. No matter who they are, if they show mutual respect, Yami will respect them even more. If not for that, Yami might be more suited to be a villain.

3. Vanessa

Vanessa is a witch who was born in the Witches’ Forest and is the favorite child of the Witch Queen. The Witches' Forest could be said to be an independent land full of witches who hate outsiders, and Vanessa has no reason to be loyal to the Clover Kingdom.

With the ability to manipulate destiny, Vanessa can become invincible. It would be very interesting if Asta and friends fight with a magician with such abilities. Luckily, she is one of the good guys.

4. Gordon Agrippa

Physically, Gordon looks terrifying. The pale skin accompanied by black lips and eyes made Gordon so fearful. His type of magic is curse magic. Gordon spent most of his childhood alone due to his appearance and the dangerous magic he has. He might be better suited to be the villain.

Even so, Gordon is a kind person, selfless, and loves his friends. Black Bull teaches us not to judge a book by its cover.

5. Jack the Ripper

This captain of Green Mantis has an obsession with cutting, including people. Jack's magic allows him to cut through anything because the ability is designed to kill. If something can be sliced, then he wants to slice it.

Jack treats his subordinates with minimal respect. Even so, he seems to be respected by his comrades for helping defend the Kingdom from the elves. If not a Magic Knight Captain, of course, Jack is perfect for being a villain.

6. Julius Novachrono

With his ability to manipulate and control time, this Magic Emperor is undoubtedly overpowered. When he was first introduced, Julius easily defeated every powerful magician. It showed that his strength is far above the level of a Magic Knight Captain.

But just imagine if he used that power for evil. Getting rid of all the magicians in the entire Kingdom is not a difficult task. Luckily, he is one of the good guys.

7. The Witch Queen

In the Witch's Forest arc, the Witch Queen was the main antagonist who almost killed some of the Black Bull members with her blood magic. She was able to easily control blood in Asta's body to attack his comrades. The Witch Queen herself never actually had any evil intentions.

After the arc ended, the Witch Queen is no longer a threat. If she intended to destroy the Clover Kingdom, then the Witch Queen could control everyone with powerful magic to kill each other.

8. Zora Ideale

When first introduced back in the Royal Knights arc, Zora’s role is greyed between as a villain and as a good guy. He attacked a magic knight and stole his identity. Since then, Zora caused chaos, using Asta as bait during the Royal Knight exam. He mastered trap magic, rare magic that allowed Zora to defeat those with powerful attacks.

With his high intelligence, unique abilities, and terrifying appearance, he is more suitable to be a villain. But deep down, he is an individual who cares about others. He just hates most nobles, especially those who have harmed his father.
