Nacht Faust is the vice-captain of the Black Bull squad who was just introduced in the manga. There are some interesting facts about him that we want to talk about below, such as why he never met his squadmates. Take a look at the discussion below!

1. Clover Kingdom's Spy

Nacht Faust was first mentioned in the manga chapter 246 or the anime episode 165 when Spade Kingdom troops mentioned rumors regarding a spy from the Clover Kingdom. While the Dark Triads were away, Nacht learned of their plans for the future. It was his last chance to infiltrate before the attack on the Spade Kingdom was carried out.

2. An Ex-Member of the Grey Deer Squad

Nacht was once able to meet all the Captains who were holding a meeting. For some reason, the Captains tried to attack him, but Nacht managed to stop them. At that time, Jack remembered him as a member of Gray Deer, who has now reformed into Azure Deer.

Gray Deer was Julius's squad before he became the Magic Emperor, as well as Yami’s squad before he led his squad, the Black Bull and Vengeance before becoming the captain of Golden Dawn.

3. Spying on Other Black Bull Members

When Nacht talks to all the Black Bull members, he quickly manages to find all their flaws. He crushes them mentally one by one, saying that they are useless people.

Given that Nacht has never visited Black Bull's base, this means Nacht must have been spying on them all this time. Nacht also tells Asta that he has watched his battles so far. With shadow magic, it's not difficult for Nacht to be able to spy on them whenever he wants.

4. Never Visit Black Bull Base

As explained above, Nacht has never visited Black Bull's headquarters. Unlike the other members who were recruited because they liked Yami, Nacht was not the case. There was no special reason for Yami to invite him to Black Bull and made him the Vice-Captain.

Nacht confirms to Asta that he never likes Yami. Nacht probably thought that Yami and the rest of the Black Bulls are just failures who will never succeed. 5. Shadow Magic

Apart from other abilities, Nacht's main strength is shadow magic. With this power, Nacht can do various things that make him very suitable to work as a spy. No wonder he can spy on all Black Bull members without ever being discovered.

Nacht can move between different shadows, or in other words, teleport. He can also stop someone from moving by confining them in a certain shadow. Nacht is also able to hold people back or take them into the shadow world with it.

6. Nacht's Age 

Nacht is 29 years old, close to his captain, Yami. He was born on April 30th and is about 180 cm tall. Not much information is known about him other than that. Even though he doesn't like other Black Bull members besides Asta, Nacht looks quite proud of his position as a Vice-Captain of Black Bull.

7. Loves Honest People

One of the facts mentioned in Nacht's profile is that he likes honest people. What he likes the most is a good person, but not someone who becomes good after doing bad things. He prefers people who are always kind and right, which is why he likes people like Asta.

He also explains to Asta that just being a good person doesn't mean you can win every battle. He believes in Asta's anti-magic power as the most powerful ability for the fight against the Spade Kingdom. That's why he decides to train Asta to turn him into their best weapon.

8. Has 4 Demons Within Him

Nacht is bound by four different demons, each of whom grants him different special abilities. Gimodelo gives Nacht the power to summon clones from his shadow. Slotos gives him tremendous strength and resistance, powerful enough to withstand the gravitational force on a person's body.

The other demons, Plumede, gives him a speed boost, while the last one is yet to be explained.
