Illumi Zoldyck is the eldest son of the Zoldyck family. As a member of a family of assassins, Illumi has a sadistic and cold nature. 1. Joining Genei Ryodan

Uvogin is a member of the Genei Ryodan who's killed by Kurapika. To fill his position, Illumi joined the group that massacred Kurapika's tribe. Even without Uvogin, they are still powerful. But the leader, Chrollo, wants someone to replace Uvo.

It was Hisoka who asked Illumi to join the Ryodan. Interestingly, Illumi's father and grandfather almost killed Chrollo when they fought. Chrollo himself didn't mind if a member of the Zoldyck family joined the Ryodan. Illumi's younger brother, Kalluto, also joined the Ryodan to replace Hisoka.

2. Manipulator-Type Nen User

Illumi is one of the strongest manipulator-type Nen users. Like the rest of the Zoldyck family, Illumi is a genius. There is not much information about his past, but what is clear is that he had mastered Nen at a very young age.
