1. Sometimes Takes The Charge as a Captain

We all know that the captain of the Straw Hat is Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy earns the trust of everyone he's worked with, as Mihawk said at Marineford. All crew should follow Luffy's directions, but Nami is different.

Sometimes Nami prefers to be in charge than Luffy. Luffy is afraid of Nami and always follows her will. Not only Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are also forced to follow Nami's orders if she’s furious.

2. Obsessed with Money

As we often see, Nami has always been obsessed with money, but there is a reason behind her nature. Because of her dark past and to free Kokoyashi village from Arlong, Nami has no other choice but to steal the treasure from the pirates and use it to buy the village of Kokoyashi from Arlong.

Even though Luffy has freed Kokoyashi village from Arlong, Nami's habit of stealing is still intact. To this day, she is still obsessed with money. Not only that, but she is also very calculating, and this is seen when she gave Zoro an interest when he borrowed money from her at Whiskey Peak.

3. Her Parents

Even though Nami is an important character in One Piece, we still don't know much about her past. All we know is that Nami has been with Nojiko since she was a baby and when she was found by Bellmere. Because of that, Nami already considers Bellmere as her biological mother.

Until now it is not known who Nami’s biological parents are. Maybe Oda will never solve this mystery since One Piece is a shonen manga, but it would be interesting if Oda decided to tell about Nami's parents in the future. Do you agree if Nami's side story tells about her parents?

4. Nami's Clothes

You may miss this little trivia. If you pay attention, Nami always wears clothes with 4 letters written on them. At Whiskey Peak, Nami was seen wearing a shirt that says MODE. 5. Her Notebook

As a navigator who has a dream to make a complete world map, Nami should have a notebook. Surely she wrote every adventure she had gone through. So far, we have never seen Nami carrying a notebook.

We’re pretty sure that Nami has it considering she is a navigator with a dream. Maybe Oda has never shown it until now.

6. Known as a Pacifist

Like Usopp, Nami prefers to avoid fighting if she feels her opponent is too strong. This is why she is often seen as a coward or pacifist (someone who prefers peace rather than fighting). It’s only natural because Nami is a woman, and it’s a different case for Usopp.

Nami will fight if she thinks she can defeat her opponent, and she will fight with her brain. Compared to other women, Nami is much stronger.

7. Prefers to Avoid Troubles

Unlike most of the Straw Hats, Nami prefers to stay out of trouble as much as possible. She does not want to fight against the Marines even though Nami can beat them.

In contrast to the Straw Hat crew who likes challenges, Nami wants to stay out of danger as much as possible. When the crew's bounty went up, only Nami looked unhappy because it would invite more Marines.

Nami's last interesting fact is that she is one of the people who have worn the legendary Straw Hat which previously belonged to the late Gol D. Roger and later passed down to Shanks. This is seen in the Arlong Park arc when Luffy calmed Nami. Before going to beat Arlong, Luffy rested his favorite hat on Nami's head to calm her down.

Besides Nami, another person Luffy entrusted to guard his hat is Usopp. This is seen in the Davy Back Fight arc when Luffy was about to fight Foxy.
