Acer Predator League 2025 is coming back for esports fans across the Asia Pacific. The Grand Final of the Acer Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 will be held at the Malaysia International Trade Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur from January 11 to 13, 2025. The tournament will feature a total prize pool of IDR 6 billion (around USD 400,000).
Acer Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 has officially announced that Valorant and Dota 2 will be the main games featured in the championship. Renaldy Felani, Marketing Communication Manager of Acer Indonesia, explained why Predator has once again chosen Valorant for the 2025 Predator League.
"Actually, it's about how Acer can stay close to the community. And our commitment to developing the esports industry in Indonesia is why we create competitions at city, community, national, and Asia Pacific levels, that's the spirit," said Renaldy.
"Why Valorant? We are following the growing popularity of the game, and we see that Valorant is still the number one PC esports game played in Indonesia," Renaldy shared exclusively with Dunia Games.
Although the league primarily features games like Valorant and Dota 2, Renaldy mentioned that the Acer Predator League is open to including other PC games in the tournament.
"It’s definitely open (to other games), especially PC games. So far, we’re focusing on Valorant, Dota 2, and CS (Counter-Strike), games we can include," he added.
The reason for reintroducing Dota 2 this year is the lack of platforms for Dota 2 enthusiasts in Indonesia. Predator aims to provide a space for the Indonesian Dota 2 community to experience competitive play again.
