One Piece Film: RED is the 15th One Piece film which was also confirmed as non-canon by Eiichiro Oda. Even so, it is not yet known whether some of the scenes in this film are canon or not. This time, Dunia Games would like to discuss various scenes in One Piece Film: RED that needs to be canonized in the main timeline. Have a look!

1. Shanks' Fiery Sword

Shanks has always been a mysterious character in One Piece. Even though he is a character that has been seen at the beginning of the story, Shanks rarely appears later on and not much is known about him, including his strength. In One Piece Film: RED, we can see Shanks' strength when fighting.

The most interesting scene from him in this film is when he uses a flame sword. He can coat his sword, Gryphon, with fire and fight using it. Not yet known whether this includes canon or not. Maybe many of you are hoping that it can become canon.

2. Califa and Blueno Join CP0

CP0 or Cipher Pol Aigis Zero is the strongest organization working under the World Government. They are stronger than the CP9 that Luffy and his friends have fought at Enies Lobby. Oda actually didn't make Blueno and Califa join CP0, but in Film: RED, they turned out to be members of CP0.

Blueno and Califa have interesting abilities that might develop further. Even though they are in Film: RED, they are both somewhat weaker than the other CP0 members because they don't wear masks. In an SBS column, Oda explained that the powerful members of CP0 wear a mask.

3. Tot Musica

Tot Musica is the Demon King of Song who is also the real antagonist in One Piece Film: RED. This monster sleeps on the island of Elegia which can only be awakened by the user of the Uta Uta no Mi ability. This monster is so strong that it can destroy the island of Elegia like in Uta and Shanks' flashback.

It is very difficult to defeat Tot Musica because he must be attacked simultaneously in the dream world and the real world. It would be very interesting if Tot Musica were made canon. Even Marine Admirals or Yonkou won't be able to beat him if they don't work together.

4. The Combat Strength of Red Hair Pirates

The most awaited thing from One Piece Film: RED is the appearance of the Red Hair Pirates. While fans are mostly focused on Shanks, the rest of the crew is also interesting as well. Oda once said that the combat power of the Red Hair Pirates is the most balanced compared to the other Yonkou. It can be said that the difference in strength between Shanks and his crew is not that far.

Because of that, being able to see them all fight is a very exciting thing in the Film: RED. There is Benn Beckman who makes Kizaru afraid once again and also Howling Gab who can issue attacks such as Hyper Beam (Pokemon) from his mouth. It would be very interesting if it were all canon.

5. Bartolomeo's Sound Barrier

Since the Straw Hats' victory in the Dressrosa arc, Bartolomeo has become a member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. In One Piece Film: RED, we again see him fighting alongside Luffy against Uta and Tot Musica. Interestingly, Bartolomeo has a new ability from his Bari Bari no Mi in this movie.

This time, he is able to create a soundproof shielding chamber that is used to trap Uta. With this, Uta's voice cannot be heard from outside. This ability is similar to Corazon's. It would be interesting if Bartolomeo's move became canon in the future.

6. Yonkou Are Stronger than Admirals

There is still a debate over who is stronger between Yonkou and Marine Admirals. They both possess extraordinary strength that is difficult to compare with each other. Even though they are both super strong, more fans believe that Yonkou are stronger. In Film: RED, it is proven that Yonkou are stronger than Admirals.

This was seen when Shanks faced the two Admirals who came to Elegia, Kizaru, and Ryokugyu and left them helpless. This means they already knew how strong Shanks is and chose not to deal with him. Despite this scene being non-canon, the original story or timeline stated that these two Admirals are definitely afraid of Shanks.

7. Uta

Maybe many don't suspect that Uta is the main antagonist in One Piece Film: RED. She is also the strongest antagonist in the One Piece movie to date. Her story, where she has a relationship with two Yonkou (Shanks and Luffy), makes her an interesting character.

Eiichiro Oda has confirmed Uta as a canon character, but she has never been seen in the story until now. Fans are curious about Uta's presence in the story later. Is she as strong as her movie counterpart? Also, will she appear again as an antagonist in the future?
