AE Rine has just proven that he has been capable of growing as a player. Alter Ego’s rookie in MPL ID Season 15 has performed well during the play-ins when AE defeated Bigetron 3-2.

AE Rine has been one of the players under the spotlight early on. He had completely failed to deliver the kind of insane performances he had shown during the regular season in the first two games.

His Ling and Lancelot had been totally ineffective—even borderline feeding. His Ling had recorded a KDA of 0-7-0, while his Lancelot ended with 1-4-1.

Fortunately, in the remaining three games, he had played Baxia solidly. Although AE Rine has not been known for his tank jungler playstyle, he has surprisingly managed to be quite effective on Baxia.

Known for his assassin-heavy play, seeing Rine on a tank has certainly been out of the ordinary. Dunia Games couldn’t help but dig deeper into this.

AE Rine Hasn’t Enjoyed Playing Tank Jungler

In an exclusive interview with Dunia Games, AE Rine has revealed that he actually hasn't felt comfortable playing a tank jungler, despite doing so in their victory over Bigetron. He admitted that he has preferred playing assassins instead.

However, given the unfavorable situation, and with Baxia being the best option, he had simply gone along with the call.

"If you ask whether it felt comfortable, definitely not (playing a jungle tank). Especially because I’m the type of player who likes to deal damage. Honestly, I felt like I lost my identity back there," Rine said exclusively.

"But I had actually been learning tank jungle for a long time. So maybe that was the final call to use it, and it worked, so I just kept going."

"Next, I’ll go back to playing assassins again, although of course, the final draft decision still lies with the coach," he concluded.
