AE Rine has emerged as one of Alter Ego’s breakout stars in MPL ID Season 15. As a debutant, he has delivered consistently strong performances and has exceeded expectations throughout the season.

His rise has played a crucial role in Alter Ego's journey to the playoffs, especially with the team’s increasingly aggressive gameplay in recent matches.

AE Rine Has Gained Respect for Nino

Rine has opened up about how he felt when first joining Alter Ego. At the time, he wasn’t confident in the team—mainly because of doubts about their EXP Laner, Nino.

But after joining the squad, his perception has completely changed. Nino has become one of his closest teammates, as well as a true leader within the team.

"Hijume invited me to try out for Alter Ego together. I said, AE? Their EXP is Nino, right? Because your name was really bad in MPL back then," Rine recalled.

"But I gave it a try and came to the gaming house. When I arrived, Nino turned out to be completely different from what I expected. He’s great in every aspect—in-game and out of game. What stands out the most is how he nurtures others. If I go off-track even a little, he reminds me," he added.

Alter Ego has made it to the playoffs, and anticipation is building. Could this be the season where they finally make history? Only time will tell.
