Cultivating a professional career is certainly not easy. There are many stages to overcome, especially for beginner players. From individual training to finally forming a team and building a career at the community level, they eventually reach the highest level with a professional team. However, often when players fail with their teams at the professional level, they lose sight of their vision and mission to remain in the competitive scene.
As a professional player with years of experience in esports, PUBG Mobile legend Made Bagas "Zuxxy" Pramudita, now playing for Alter Ego Ares, spoke about this issue. AE Zuxxy offered advice to PUBG Mobile community players on how to improve after failing at certain levels: to persevere in training and to change their mindset in order to achieve their goals with their team.
AE Zuxxy's Message to Players in the Indonesian PUBG Mobile Community
In a recent live stream, AE Zuxxy shared these messages with players in the PUBG Mobile community. According to Zuxxy, community players, especially those who have contributed to competitions like the PMPL (PUBG Mobile Pro League) or even the Jawara (PMJ) level, and other competitions, are crucial to continuously foster discussions and debates about current competitive developments, from the game's meta to the existing teams.
"It should be, for example, players in the community who have participated in the PMPL and failed to qualify, or have participated in the Jawara tournament, or something else. It's important for you to discuss these issues by forming groups or communities to discuss the meta, studying pro teams, PMGC teams, PMWC teams, and so on," Zuxxy told his viewers. AE Zuxxy also added that players who are building their careers shouldn't focus solely on showcasing individual skills but rather think about the larger goal of working with their team.
"Don't just think about showing off your skills. I know you're good, but how can you improve if you don't discuss how this team can win," he said. "Because I feel like these community members want everyone to look good, to have great clips, to be seen as MVPs. But what will always be remembered, what will be remembered forever, and what's most valuable is when you, your team, win, not just you being MVP," Zuxxy added.
Zuxxy also doesn't mind if community players only think about themselves and don't want to develop by prioritizing the goal of playing within a team. However, he would be very disappointed if, in the end, teams or players from the community don't develop because of this inappropriate mindset. "Yes, I understand that, but it's okay, you go ahead. If you only want good clips, if you want to play on a team that stands out, that's fine," Zuxxy explained.
"Go ahead, guys. Play in the PMPL or whatever tournament you want, just let me play on my own. Let my team play well, that's fine. You can play for yourself, play for yourself, that's fine. I've already told you that, so you shouldn't play just to stand out, to appear the best," he concluded.
