The life simulation game made by an Indonesian developer titled Coral Island will leave its Early Access period and officially launch version 1.0 on November 14, 2023. This life simulation game will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms via Steam and Microsoft Store. Additionally, developer Stairway Games and publisher Humble Games also announced the game will be available via Xbox Game Pass.

The game was first released on Steam for early access in October last year and now the game is ready for the official launch of the full version. This game is also planned to be released for Nintendo Switch around 2024, but at this time Starway Games has not announced an official date for the game for Switch.

Version 1.0 of Coral Island will include many things, starting from stories about the revitalization of the city, the opportunity to visit the merfolk kingdom and chat with its citizens, being able to dive into the depths of the sea, and being able to marry the NPC of your choice. There will be hundreds of decoration and clothing choices available, the option to get a pet, take part in eight existing festivals, and many other interesting activities that players can take part in.

The Coral Island team also shared an overview of what will be in the future such as a tourism system, a storyline about rebuilding the merfolk kingdom, merfolk festivals, relationship options, and opportunities to be able to farm and raise livestock at sea. It is even rumored that there will be more story content, access to the savanna region, and much more content that players can look forward to from this game.

In Coral Island, you will act as a character who leaves the big city to leave behind the slower lifestyle on the titular island. You will start by customizing your character and learning how to survive by farming, caring for animals, and building relationships with other island residents. Throughout your journey on this island, you will also help revitalize the city and care for damaged coral reefs in the sea to maintain the balance of the marine ecosystem.
