Pearl is the latest map in VALORANT which seems simple yet also complex at the same time. This map doesn’t have any door or teleporter, yet the layout can be quite perplexing. 

There are several VALORANT Agents that excel on Pearl. So, who are these Agents? Without further ado, let’s get into it!

1. Viper

Viper is a Controller who can excel on Pearl due to her Toxic Screen, which can be used to cover most of the map.

When Attacking, Viper’s Toxic Screen can be used to block the opposing team’s vision of crucial spots like Haven, mid link, to back site.

Pearl is also a great place to line up as there aren’t too many roofs in the way — making the Snake Bite-Poison Cloud lineup combo really effective.

When Defending, Viper can also protect the site really well with her Poison Cloud and Toxic Screen by covering areas like the mid. Viper can easily dominate Pearl!

2. Astra

Astra is another Controller who can excel on Pearl. Granted, Astra has been falling behind other Controllers. But, I personally believe that Astra will make a return on Pearl.

Since Pearl is so vast, Astra has her own advantage, namely using her ability from anywhere. Astra’s Nebula can also be used to smoke dangerous spots.

Her Gravity Well and Nova Pulse can also be used to clear angles given that Pearl has so many angles and corners to cover.

I believe that the Astra-Viper duo will become the new norm on Pearl.

3. Yoru

Next up, we have Yoru, a Duelist with teleportation powers. Yoru can turn Pearl into his playground as he can easily move around the map. 

His teleportation abilities can be used to either rotate or retake while most Agents will find it difficult to quickly rotate on Pearl.

4. KAY/O

KAY/O is a reliable Initiator to be used on any map as his ZERO/POINT can disable opponents. KAY/O’s FLASH/DRIVE is also quite powerful as there are so many close corners on this map.

Because of that, KAY/O is one of the best Initiators in the game.

5. Fade

Fade is another Initiator who can easily dominate Pearl. Fade is a new Agent with exceptional intel abilities. Her Prowler can be used to check close corners, and her Haunt can be used to gather info on a site.

Nightfall also works incredibly well on this map as it covers the entire site.
