As one of the leading teams in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL) PH competitive scene, RRQ Kaito has achieved numerous impressive achievements. Arriving and competing, RRQ Kaito became one of the teams that successfully defeated various well-known teams in the MDL PH competitive scene, including second-tier teams Blacklist International, Team Liquid, Team Falcons, and other up-and-coming names.

RRQ Kaito's success has also produced several renowned players who have pursued careers at the MPL PH level and even in other regions. However, RRQ Kaito's journey in the MDL PH has not been smooth, with many bumps along the way. While they secured the championship title, defending it was a challenging journey. Ultimately, where there is a beginning, there is always an end.

RRQ Kaito Officially Disbands, Ending the King's Journey in the Philippines

For your information, RRQ Kaito first entered the MDL PH competitive scene in 2023. The King brought in several young stars with great potential. Although their initial steps weren't particularly impressive, Kaito progressed well. Major changes were made with the recruitment of renowned coach Jian Paulo "Pauu" Magno Munsayac.

Pauu's arrival had a positive impact. RRQ Kaito progressed rapidly in MDL PH Season 3. The results were impressive, with RRQ winning the MDL PH Season 3 championship after defeating ECHO Proud. However, player changes gradually began to occur in subsequent seasons. Ultimately, RRQ's strength began to wane, and the King's journey to the championship became increasingly difficult.

RRQ's last best achievement was a runner-up finish in MDL PH Season 4 and Season 6. Ultimately, RRQ management officially decided to disband the team and temporarily relocate coach Pauu to become an analyst for the RRQ Hoshi team in the Games of the Future (GOF) 2025 MLBB event. The disbandment announcement took place on Friday, December 12, 2025.

"2+ years, 1 MDL trophy, and so many memories. Thank you to RRQ Kaito for all your hard work on and off the stage. Good luck on your next journey. Farewell, brothers," wrote the team's management on Instagram. They also released a farewell video on their YouTube channel, showcasing the Kaito team's journey over time.
