Before Oda released chapter 957, some leaks the spoiler of that chapter. The chapter explains the bounty of Yonkou, including Gol D. Roger. The bounty of Roger is 5,5 billion Belly.

That price is appropriate for the figure that triggers the beginning of the Pirate Era. Compared to other Yonkou that’s still alive, this price is much bigger. The other interesting about this is that no one can claim Roger’s bounty because Roger gave himself away to the Marines.

It will be really interesting if Oda makes a spin-off of Roger’s past, explaining how he faced his opponents and his abilities. We are all hoping that one day there will be a One Piece movie that centers around Roger. 

What’s Luffy’s reaction when he sees Roger’s bounty? Then will Luffy’s bounty exceed Roger’s? Maybe yes, since Luffy has a bounty of 1,5 billion Belly at the moment. So it’s possible when he became the Pirate King will exceed Roger’s.
