The rumors about The Last of Us series have been circulating since 2015. The Game Designer, Neil Druckman confirmed that The Last of Us series is in the works. The latest update from the series confirmed the main cast of The Last of Us live-action.

Actress Bella Ramsey was the first to be confirmed playing Ellie. And now The Mandalorian actor, Pedro Pascal is confirmed to play Joel in the series directed by Craig Mazin.

The Last of Us is a video game film anticipated by gamers. The film is set 20 years after modern civilization is destroyed. Joel is paid to smuggle Ellie, a teenager that might be the key to end the pandemic.

Pedro playing Joel will embark on a journey to take Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of the quarantine zone and deliver her to a group called Firefly. They went through a brutal as they cross the U.S. they have to survive relying on each other.

The zombie game franchise is developed by Naughty Dog and an exclusive to the PlayStation console. The first game was released in 2013 for PS3 and Naughty Dog released a spin-off titled The Last of Us: Left Behind and the sequel The Last of Us Part II to PS4.

The creator of The Last of Us, Neil Druckman will be the executive producer for the series alongside Craig Mazin. Fans hoped that the series will turn out great and become a great survival film.
