Branz Rejects Spot on EVOS Roster for China Tournament, Here’s Why
Branz doesn't want to play in Cina with EVOS Academy.

It’s confirmed: Branz refused to join EVOS’ roster for the upcoming tournament in China. The player himself revealed the decision.
EVOS will be the only Indonesian team competing in the MLBB Super Cup Invitational in China this May—a surprising fact, considering no Philippine teams or other Indonesian squads were invited. However, top-tier teams from regions like Brazil, Turkey, and Russia will participate.
The tournament remains intriguing as it features elite teams, serving as a litmus test for EVOS’ experimental roster (which notably won’t include any MPL or MDL EVOS players).
The Leaked Roster Rumors
EVOS player Vann (who isn’t part of the roster) hinted at potential lineup details. Three veterans—Vann, Saykots, and Cr1te—were rumored to join EVOS’ U-16 squad for the event, though the validity of these claims remains unconfirmed.
One thing’s certain: Branz turned down the offer. He addressed this directly during a live stream.
Why Branz Said No
Branz admitted he was approached to join EVOS’ China-bound roster but declined after careful consideration. His reasoning? Prioritizing his long-term prospects over a one-off tournament.
"The main issue is I can’t commit to a full pro-player training schedule—unless there’s a guaranteed path to MPL. But that’s not on the table," Branz explained.
"If it’s just for the China tournament and I have to sacrifice my streaming career? No thanks."
This decision highlights a key point: EVOS management didn’t promise that performing in China would boost his chances of joining MPL ID in the future.
Currently, Branz is fully focused on streaming and remains a core member of Party EVOS India.
