After finishing runner-up in the M7 World Championship, El Familia certainly looks solid with their current roster. However, facing the new competitive season, adjustments are needed to ensure Alter Ego remains competitive against other teams, especially those making changes to their roster. Players like Nino, Yazuke, Hijumee, Arfy, Alekk, Cyruz, and coach Xepher are confirmed to remain for MPL ID Season 17.

El Familia are making important adjustments, considering that this season they will be competing for a spot at the MSC 2026 Esports World Cup. Throughout the history of the Indonesian MLBB competitive scene, Alter Ego Esports has never competed in the MSC. Some time ago, on Tuesday, March 4, 2026, Alter Ego officially announced their roster for MPL ID Season 17. As you can see, there aren't many changes. Familiar faces are back, but there are new additions to the team. Nino will remain the EXP Laner, Hijumee will continue as Midlaner, Arfy will continue as Gold Laner, Alekk as Roamer, and Yazuke will continue as Jungler.

As a backup, Cyruz will continue as Midlaner, and a new addition to the team is Reyy, the former DEWA United Jungler who has officially joined the team.
