In a surprising turn of events, Alter Ego Valorant announced their disbandment on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. After five years of competing in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian Valorant scene, the team has now come to a halt, leaving behind three players and one coach.

Their journey has been quite a rollercoaster ride. Since the arrival of Valorant in Indonesia, Alter Ego has been a key player in the scene since 2020, nurturing many well-known Indonesian Valorant stars like Xffero (RRQ), BerserX (BOOM), Lmemore (TODAK), deLb (All Gamers Global), and Kushy (RRQ).

As they close this chapter in the competitive Valorant landscape, the future of the remaining players and coaching staff remains uncertain, with no updates on potential transfers or acquisitions as of yet.

What led to the conclusion of Alter Ego Valorant's remarkable journey in the competitive arena?
